which was a win since they had one guy left in the ring.

That's pretty much what the left and IDpol want for everything. Erase history and re-write it so that POCs/Women/Troons/Gays were the ones who accomplished everything and CIS Het White Males did nothing and stole the valor.

Even the Cis Gay White Males gets the shaft. Just look at how they're trying to convince people that trannies were at the forefront of the Stonewall riots.

That was like the very end of the fight, I was referring specifically to whenever the hell vegeta and goku tried to tag team jiren in the pic. I can’t remember anything about that dumb shit except the ending though, but jiren kinda just stomped everyone until the end if I’m remembering right lol

Among all the comments I've seen regarding this debacle, "Mr. Wizard kicked Melee out of EVO because it turned 18" is one of the highlights.

Since one of the Cannon Brothers has taken over, I fully expect whatever is coming to take its place will be festooned with open favouritism towards Knockoff Street Fighter (I,e: the upcoming Riot Games title). I'm curious as to how sterilised the future FGC is going to be. Will anime tiddy games get thrown under the bus as well while the Twitter Inquisition engulfs all?

Anime players are unique in the FGC insofar that the scene doesn't really give a shit if it's in EVO or not. The small sense of validation is nice, and the tourney has been a cool gathering event to go hang with guys you talk to online year round for a couple weekends out of the year, but nobody is playing Melty Blood with aspirations of being on TV.

A part of me wish the Fgc is more like that rather than trying to make fighting games into some form of serious e-sports like with Mobas.
