I actually happened to watch his ToP clear video today and did not know about the trans-rights stuff until he literally screamed it when they cleared ToP.

Yoshi-P is aware of the PlayerScope Plugin. Unfortunately because Nothing Ever Happens, both of the options that are supposedly being discussed will do anything to solve the problem.

- Deleting the tool will do nothing. There are already several forks of both the plugin and the server.
- Pursing legal action against the plugin developer will be untenable and would most likely result in a win for the plugin developer since while this does break the XIV TOS, the TOS is not legally binding, and all of the information that the tool collates is obtainable ingame without actually hacking into the servers.

Also my ban became permanent, probably because the jannies got mad at me saying that plugins already get around the shoddy implimentation of the blacklist's invisibility for people you have blacklisted.

Edit: Just saw this post that was made by Morgana Ultimus after getting a player banned from the forums for excercising their own free speech against them.

Played this game on-and-off since ARR beta, at this point both horrified and deeply amused by what the community's transformed into. FFXIV drama is really one of my favorites, despite feeling a little sting of shame whenever it surfaces in the normieverse (like the billboard)...because I know these types all too well, having interacted with them during new expansions and addiction binges and intermittent roleplay stints for the past decade. No amount of Lunacy reaction stickers is enough to quantify the most deranged players, so thankfully the dev team literally sent them to the moon in Endwalker.

I set this thread on Watch and greatly look forward to its future developments. Thanks everyone for your continued service.

I was able to play a male miqote in ARR and get ZERO horny whispers or comments on it, as at the time it would all go to the cat girls.

But nowadays it fucking happens once a week and if I am lucky it would be once every 2 weeks without even bothering with glamour, and every time it happens I have to pretend that they are literally talking to a brick wall because calling them a degenerate faggot gives you the ban hammer.

Because of this I popped a phantasia and changed to the default male hyur.
