Good point, actually. Hrothgar also don't have as wide of a fanbase as male Viera do (obnoxious gays, genderspecials AND fujos love them), so it's arguably worse. They're also a popular choice in Japan, so I'd expect them to get more attention vs the clinically unpopular in the east Hrothgar.
Related, even if femHrothgar look cool, just knowing the inevitable awful playerbase they'll get (or the bitching and moaning if the devs are "cowards" with their designs) makes me dread their confirmed debut.

I mean, only tanks have this so I don't think that is an entirely fair thing to say.

Button bloat is an issue for me, because I like minimal crap on my screen, but I also don't think class mounts is the answer.
 
I like my male xaela character. I unironically love spikey, edgelord looks and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

That sounds like a nightmare. Weirdest one I had was I wound up with (And one of the reasons I greatly prefer to tank) was when I got paired with some WAR dude who wanted to try and roleplay during the dungeon. Not, like, erotic roleplay. But, he was narrating what he was doing. And legit just walking towards the mobs. He'd only pull one or two enemies at a time. I wish I'd took screenshots, because it was actually kind of funny. I couldn't tell if he was legit or just fucking around.
 
The worst racial faggotry I had (beyond just seeing overly skimpy mega gay Male Roes/Hrothgars) was two Hrothgar dressed as pure white angels (they were both healers) and doing some kind of guardian angel duo larp off and on during Orbonne Monastery. To be fair they played competently and didn't act like total fags in chat 24/7, but they liked using emotes to appear 'divine' if you can call it that.

I have some similar on my server.

They have the last name "Azem" and cosplay Elidibus and stand around incredibly close to each other in white robes with angel wings, they don't say anything, just stand there or follow each other around. They are male Viera and creep me the fuck out.

If I were an overdramatic faggot I think I'd throw up seeing that and tell that asshole to stop with their LARP. I know FFXIV's story is not high art or anything, but come the fuck on this is just a stupid way to try and show appreciation for the story. Elidibus is specifically meant to be different from the other Ancients so you can't cosplay as him and be someone else, so this doesn't even match the LARP they're going for. If their is anyone I hate more then LARPing it is inaccurate to the source material LARPing.

The DRK questline is still one of the more engaging ones I've done. Sid's a good friend. And Fray is entertaining every time he was onscreen. Plus, everything there always feels really personal and intense since it all deals with the WoL's internal issues. Whereas most of the other job quests just feel like someone else's adventure, guest starring the WoL.

I was not wrong when I said hrothgar were turbo autists. They’re perverted as hell, but are crazy good at the game.

I'm gonna need some sources to verify that last part, because in my experience it just isn't the case. Unless by "the game" you mean "being an annoying fag", in which case you are absolutely correct.

I base this entirely on the fact that I personally know maybe one guy who insists on playing a FemRoe and burly muscle women in general in other games and he is quite the miserable fellow as a person.

Man, every time I see other Hroths, it's a 70/30 they're massive faggots, or they're just people who want to play jacked characters that *aren't* retards. AKA, Roes.

I like Hroth because when I play tank, I like looking like I could actually hold off an attack, rather than being 80 pounds soaking wet. Otherwise, I'd play a fucking potato (just cus they're the only race with a shaved head, which pisses me off).

But fucks sake, shit like that is just second hand humiliating. Like I feel myself reaching for the Fantasia to go back to an edge-lizard just so I won't be associated with it.

The only source I can give you is luck and just being lucky I guess. At least from my experience, they're autistically skilled. Too bad their horniness ruins my overall perception of them.

Accuse you of your name not being a joke is what i'd go with. I wish they were mostly played up as muscle girl or mom types but I find most none too subtly reference the fact that they want their character to have a fucking lightpole swinging between their shapely legs. Saddest shit ever.

One of the reasons I'm happy the adventurer plate doesn't let you write paragraphs of bullshit unto it. I can't find it right now, but there's an infamous image of an addon that allows players in WoW to write like an RP backstory for their character. And every female player character just goes on and on about their girl dick, and every draenei has a massive horse cock
