Well, pretty much every DRK player had been asking for a non-shitty version of Living Dead for, uh, a long ass time now. And we finally got that (With getting that second AOE waaaay earlier now as a bonus.) So, I'd imagine by the time they do two more expansions, they'll have a pre-70 TBN.
Now they just need to fix every other problem.
Like making Dark Mind not ass vs most the game.
Making DRK not boring as sin outside of the two minute window in boss fights if you want to do the most damage. The other tanks at least get decent 1 minute windows, but DRK has to hold as much as possible for the two minute due to how its resources and CDs work.
TBN needs to not be the most retarded unique tank CD in this game's existence where its value and timing has to change when you get new gear due to it being an HP% shield because TBN can't just give you Dark Arts when it expires, the shield MUST break for some reason when no other tank has to do this. TBN isn't so good anymore that it needs this restriction, its time to let go. It is more frustrating then fun for TBN to work this way, TBN's most interesting part is using it to generate an extra Edge of Shadow for burst purposes anyway.
Oblation is a pure cope "Look mom I'm helping!" defensive and needs to do something more, 10% is fuck all with how tanks use their CDs these days due to diminishing returns.
Making DRK's full opener not require 7 double weaves would be very cool, not even GNB double weaves this much.
Make Abyssal Drain not fucking shit filler garbage would also be cool. Just make it a GCD again, cost mana, and have a CD like MCH's Drill. Bam I made Abyssal Drain not garbage and we now only need 6 double weaves.
While I would say DRK and WAR are very much different jobs overall, Blood Gauge is a shitty gauge mechanic that does almost nothing for the job but rip from a different more well liked job.
Living Shadow is so boring for how iconic of an ability it looks for DRK's narrative, it could at least be like Ninja's shadow clone or something at least.
