Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

IIRC it was confirmed that Krile is going to get more screentime in the future. If they would ever decide to start fresh and make a new scion team that would be a good opportunity. A few days back someone in my FC chat also pointed out that Azdaja is the perfect setup for 7.0 being Meracydia.

I've heard that she is going to be the inspiration for one of the next jobs, very likely it will be caster dps.

Next event we're getting some evil scientist costume.

Haven't gotten to this part in EW they're referring to. Curious if this is just pornsick projecting or if they have a point.

Relevant discussion starts about here

The ingame dialogue they're quoting is true, it just depends on how the reader wants to interpret it. To me it sounds like Sadu's comment to Magnai suggests that she's fine with dating women, but that doesn't mean she's actually with Cirina romantically now just cause they've gone hunting together.

Noooo you don't get it, if two people enjoy doing anything together they must be also banging constantly.

This is how you know redditors don't have any fucking friends.

I can safely say that this is not exclusively a redditor problem. It is definitely a female/tranny fan problem.

Slight PL, but I have been invited to a few different groups recently to join in on some mount farming. Said groups are filled with a predominant female and tranny (or that special brand of women presenting as "they/them/he" because that's a trendy thing apparently) population, and, scouring through some of their chats, among other retarded takes that would probably give Zeke the same kind of aneurysm I've had, were discussions about how they hated how G'raha... somehow made overtly romantic advances on our characters? Which is something I have never once seen in the story? And about how Aymeric "forced" us into a "dinner date" that one time.

I think it's just a socially maladjusted/pornsick problem.

For example, the dude who constantly posts art of Ryne/Not-Squall on Reddit because he finds his fixation on 2 minors allegedly being in a homosexual relationship to be "empowering."

Its funny because it wasn't that long ago that Aymeric was basically the fangirl handsome boy of choice. G'raha gets a lot more of that now but he comes across as more of a fanboy with a crush.

In that optional scene at your room in Sharlayan I do think his body language and general dialogue gives off similar vibes as some anime schoolgirl standing in front of her 'senpai' crush. Same with that scene in 6.1 where he really wants Krile to give him permission to hang out with you again.

I've brought it up before but the devs definitely know about fandom memes and which characters are simped over so it seems like they made a deliberate choice to play into that.

Right, but acting like a giddy schoolgirl with a crush doesn't 1:1 correlate to romance in and of itself, considering he's been shown to be just as giddy towards meeting other people and being included in the Scions in general, nor does it even remotely make him the "homewrecker" that a lot of these brain-rotted types keep proclaiming him to be, or so I've heard on the grapevine from people further down the fangirl rabbit hole than I ever hope to dig.

And the Aymeric thing I've seen is still just a massive "Dude what," take for me.

Oh yeah the devs and writers know what is up with the fandom. They'll likely keep the popular choice (which is.. 90% of the scions) open because if they pair them off or make it clear they're not 'available' for the WoL the fujoshis will revolt.

Being invited to a polite dinner with a friend you've risked your life with to talk and enjoy a meal is super skeevy don't you know? Nobody has meals together unless they're a creeper. Nobody.

Also 'Homewrecker' for G'raha are they fucking serious. That's the most pathetically dumb thing I've heard from fans regarding the characters. Wreck WHAT HOUSE? G'raha strikes me as the kind of person that a well phrased put down by one of the people they respect would crush his soul from his body and he'd struggle to recover.

Don't even think G'raha is that great and I find that laughable.

What? You thought people who live their lives in a video game with little contact with the outside world would have some level of social awareness?

I have a really funny story about these people. There's this woman in this old FC I was apart of who has this weird femcel mentality despite being married (who is a pathetic manchild IRL and probably the worst spouse she could've ever picked) and thinks that any man who comes within at least three feet of her is looking to hit on her or grope. I'm not shitting you. Doesn't matter the circumstance, every man wants to eat her out like a trip to McDonald's. It's a weird reverse Chantal cope she has that I wish I had a term for, but it's fucking funny to witness because IRL she's fat and ugly and I don't think any man wants to touch her with a ten foot pole except for desperate manchildren.

Nah I really don't expect it given this is the same game where I've seen people bitterly complain about the game not respecting their they/them pronouns. Ignore that they picked a male or female body then think that the mod they installed to look more androgynous should be supported by the actual devs.

There's way too many sad cat ladies or housewives who basically live out their weird fantasies and delusions. I've had the displeasure of meeting plenty who thinks a compliment in any form to their outfit, their performance in a fight, or whatever has a hidden flirt in it. Way too self important.

The funniest thing about the 'homewrecker' idea is the fact that XIV has shown they respect the players relationships more than the players do.

FFS, if you do the Warrior Questline when you're married, an option is added to bring it up when someone tries to push you to bang their daughter.

I have no idea what to think about the criterion dungeons. I have not done hard mode yet, so I need to see what that's about, but the rewards from the hard mode with exception to the mount seems underwhelming. I think it's a cool idea on paper, but in practice with players it feels kind of hostile because there's turbulence in which direction players want to go.

I would sure love to keep doing the variant and criterion dungeons were it not for the fact that the servers keep dying apparently.

It really needs better rewards, maybe a way to earn savage raid gear? They are fun, the mount doesn't bind and you can buy it on the AH.
