Either or works. Dark Knight's for that sick Tank meta damage and Warrior is just braindead easy to play.

Gunbreaker might also be worth considering since it's second to Dark Knight in terms of meta, last I heard.

Eh, friend of mine is already group Gunbreaker, and the job didn't really interest me. It's cool, just not my style.

Was thinking about running a "dark warrior" kind of character, but I already got Black Mage, so I dunno. Stuck between catering to the meta, or taking the paste eater route.

Not much of a PvP guy myself, though I probably will give it more of a try soon. I was mostly grabbing a Tank for clearing content; not just raiding, but also general PvE stuff like FATEs. Been playing Reaper for most of Stormblood and Shadowbringers, and the entirety of Endwalker, and I'm seriously looking for something new.

I enjoy that these are the same types that will get up in arms over cultural appropriation, but feel empowered to dictate how a dev in another country, with a completely different worldview, should think and how Western standards of inclusivity/diversity need to be adhered to.

I will continue to appreciate Japanese devs who will just make games and do what they want because it's fun.

I moved to Maduin and got a plot just fine. I don't know what the problem is huehue

In seriousness though, come to Dynamis if you want a good shot at a house. I only won because I was one of only 2 bidders (the other bidder decided they wanted to be cute and bid on the same plot as me while ignoring all the other plots with 0 bids).

After I won, I parked myself outside my new house and waited so I could watch the loser come get their gil from MY signboard.

GG, fag. Goodluck in the 2nd lottery tryna steal another plot out from under someone else, asshole.

Edit: Side note, I've become a housing cunt. I got an apartment in the same ward just so I could decorate it too. Spent like 8 hours yesterday fucking around with it. It's pretty fun home designing.

I think it's one step forward and three steps back, it's time consuming, it's rng, and the convenience attracts assholes that win the plot and either don't claim or do anything with it and wastes people's time. Should have done a "queue" system.

Lottery isn't super ideal but it's the best they can give with the currrent system. Everyone has a fair shot and it allows people with jobs and responsibilities access as well without them having to fight against bots or stand around at a single plot for 10+ hours.

I do agree about people gettting a house and then doing nothing with it. It's an issue in the bigger servers and older DCs. I remember doing a sweep in some of the wards in Balmung and I came across a good chunk of old houses that were sitting around empty. Like whoever got the plot just forgot that they had a house because it's still up meaning the owner still plays. I mean if you're not gonna bother doing anything with it and have no plan to do so, you might as well give it up so someone can make use of it.

So my friend decided to report these degenerates that constantly spam their ERP free company. It's been so bad that I am starting to think that mods need to really start enforcing their rules a better when it comes to advertising FCs.

I swear it use to be limited to Lominsa when it came to this shit, but it's in every city-state now, as well as the outside of city states. I can't go almost an hour without seeing this. What the fuck is going on? They're even doing it in hunt trains. What the fuck is going on? I know the FF14 community is degenerate, but I swear it's been ramped up to 11 as of late.

Last time I was doing Expert Deliveries for GC seals, my chatbox ended up spammed with entire log window-filling advertisements back to back, and someone else suggested in shout chat to report the offending parties for RMT. I figured it made sense, since some of these groups are, in some respects with their "pricing plans", tangentially connected to RMT gil trading, so I've adopted that advice for the time being until someone in an official capacity says to stop.

What I've noticed these people tend to do is make a round trip to every single aetheryte in the game, spam their ad macro, and then fuck off to other servers to do it all over again. I'm betting they're getting even more mileage out of it now that DC travel is a thing.

-new dungeon looks like Snowcloak v. 2,
-another ultimate for raidtrannies,
-another arena for CC got revealed,
-next deep dungeon will take place in Eureka,
- new beast tribe (crafting quests) are the annoying little bunnies
- more housing wards (oooooooooooooooh boooooi)
- more readable damage numbers, (still look like shit)
- patch will be released on Jan. (month late)

1800 extra plots is nothing for Crystal DC. Balmung alone pushes 3k lottery entrants each cycle.

I'll enjoy watching the bloodbath though, hehehehe.

In my server a medium pops up almost every week with 100+ bids, a couple of smalls with 25+ every week, there are still a lot of small plots available in the Ishgard Fc wards.
