Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

About 2 minutes into the MSQ and yeah,

Wuk Lamat is basically an unprepared moron pretending to be something they aren't. I guess casting a troon for that isn't a bad idea in retrospect, heh

E: And she's starting to get more annoying "The Third Promise! The Third Promise!"

I'm enjoying the rage from all the people posting about how they're stuck on other servers/data centers because they didn't go back home before the maintenance.

got viper to 82, and so far, its the easiest class in the game, and i don't see that changing at 100

Thoughts on the graphic update? I personally don't even notice a difference in my own character, but people seem generally upset about the changes.

My character feels completely different. I don't hate it as much as I did the benchmark version, but they turned my cute/dork looking cat into a hot babe. I'll probably get used to it in a few sessions but still.

Not gonna lie, I don't mind Wuk Lamat with the JP voices. I found Moenbryda more irritating.

Where did I see this hairstyle again?

Hearing my wokey FC mates wanting to throw Wuk Lamat off a cliff has been funny.

I still haven't reached DT. The graphic update has been a great uplift in my eyes, the hairs are smoother, lighting is way less edgey, the rain is prettier. I play on Medium to be fair, but it seems my Raen and the world is only looking better.

Logged in a bit earlier, and had a queue of 6. Benefits of being a Dynamis expat I guess. Doing some Endwalker clean-up(finished DRK Manderville weapon, working on SGE, trading in old tomestones, etc.)before forcing myself to endure more Wuk Lamat

I logged in long enough to unlock viper and turn in a Khloe book before having to go to work. The queue wasn’t the worst.

The queues are actually tiny for everybody. I was there at launch which took queues to the thousands, but a relog later showed me a queue of 40. Everyone else in my FC reported the same.

I forgot to pre-order so I'm going to have to wait till Tuesday till I can get to Tural.
The quest that gives you a Fantasia is pretty funny, it was nice to see it being used by a lala to become a highlander instead of what the community usually uses it to do.

There are 4 new types of glasses you can buy in the Saucer, and the system is shoddy at best right now. You can wear them over the top of goggles, hoods/veils, and full face helmets.

Or the level 50* Goldsmith items from ARR post-patches that were designed as glasses before this system was even remotely conceived of. Those are still worn items and didn't get converted, so you can have 2 different glasses on at the same time.

The Shadow DC now exists, but can only be accessed by people on Light and Chaos who DC Travel, character creation still isn't opening up until the official release. I'd guess there's around 2500 people on there using it so that they don't have to spend as much time waiting for loading screens.

Most of the complaints from JP players I've seen is that it didn't go far enough retouching old zones.

Apparently Wuk does not like alpacas

My fucking sides.
That line felt like the directors of whatever business unit makes XIV travelled to Peru for inspiration and at least one of them found out first hand what kind of temper alpacas have behind that fluffy exterior
