All of the team was busy with FFXVI so I guess they didn’t really give a shit about dawntrail at that time. I mean Soken must’ve blown his entire load with FFXVI to go from that to dawntrail music.

Just found this thread, pretty vindicating to read others also say the game is toxic in the dystopic "emperors new clothes" kind of way where if you say something or call someone out your enemy #1.
Back in ShB I was spamming Crystal Tower for the relic quests and I was on my 13th~ run that day, so I was starting to optimize a little bit for fun. Autistic stuff like standing near exits when bosses were about to die, playing ninja for faster sprint, Etc. The point is someone called me out, saying I was ruining CRYSTAL TOWER for new players by "speedrunning". Getting mad that I was ready to leave the encounter when I should of helped the new players do a single extra GCD on the power crept mobs that would die by the time I got to them. I say a quick one sentence counter that they're being passive aggressive over an experience that's already flawed and they shut up till the end of the alliance. Their friend proceeds to drop a 2 page essay of virtue signaling while antagonizing me then they all dip out of the instance immediately as they hit enter so I cant respond.
Its always petty. Every time I've had conflict with a player I've felt like they're all from a clique that will backstab you if it makes them look good, shady, slimy, quick to attack before understanding.

I would still wait for everyone else and I wouldn't pull during cutscenes, I was just having fun Naruto running to the boss and getting there first. I wish I screenshot what they said it was pathetic and out of nowhere.

It sucks because Ultima is my favorite fight in the game but I can't even remember the last time I got Orbonne in roulettes. It's always CT or Dun Scaith or the fucking awful Nier ones.
It doesn't make sense to me. Ivalice is in the trial now (And required to unlock Bozja, so people have a gameplay reason to do it).
"Nier Glam Farm" runs are a common sight in PF and the bosses in those 3 are damage sponges because the stat squish fucked them over.
I've had more Aglaia runs in the roulette recently, but that's because word got around that it's a better time:exp ratio than doing dungeons if you have the preorder earring.

I love Orbonne. I still remember the first time I ran it when it first came out and Mustadio did that bitchin' snipe animation while the music from Final Fantasy Tactics was playing and how great that was. I'm hoping the FF11 raids have similar fan service since I love that game as well.

Tbh, I think it's better when anyone can voice anyone but you can't deny the hypocrisy stinks. It is funny when it backfires though, like YongYea pushing hard on it and then getting pissed off when the only roles he's offered are for asian characters...

I've seen the sentiment creep up that you can be both white and Latino. Which, okay, fine.
But I'm super skeptical someone who was born and raised in fucking Kentucky, with a British last name, is authentically Latino.
I also wonder if they're 'Hispanic', period, or if they're as Hispanic as Scott Hall as Razor Ramon was. Their demo reel doesn't show off any of that range and their continued bitching would seem to indicate that isn't the case.

The CT exploit was never really fixed. It is true that yeah, the MSQ funnels you there, but that hardly explains why it's so often every fucking AR roulette. I don't know the workaround to their "fix" (which took like 4+ fucking years?), but I know it exists.

The legacy of the colonial caste systems (whose names I forget and don't care about) were verymuch real, and fair-skinned hispanics tended to dominate the higher social castes and post-revolution the higher social classes. Much of this was also region-based, with say Caracas being much more huwhite than the surrounding areas. Brazil in particular has quite a lot of issues surrounding its own, particular, specific iterations of race, for example.

But as a whole, Tural is about as inspired and authentic as Epcot, a very shallow themepark that just boring exposition on a culture that omits all the interesting or non kid friendly bits, packaged under the guise of being respectful or educational
