Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

Honestly for the DT MSQ just skip all the cutscenes then write your own story to explain why things are happening, someone in my FC is doing this now and it's hilarious. He's going on about how the WoL is a missionary coming to Tural to spread the word of Hydaelyn to the godless savages, and how he's now fighting Sphene because her cult has invaded Tural as well. (DT MSQ Spoilers)
Okay but how is he accounting for the liggers?

I'd looked briefly at MMOMinion, is there a bot you'd recommend?
You're actually retarded if you pay for that. You'll be paying for a subscription that's $5/month at the lowest, $15 for the ability for it to do the (DT only) MSQ for you, $21 for it to do the (DT 7.0 only) duties for you, and at least $15 for the job you're going to be doing the MSQ as. The only thing that paid bots have over the Puni.sh/[x]Reborn group is Chocobo Racing (because SND doesn't have a function for seeing the 3 2 1 happen) and Lord of Verminion (Because there isn't a SND function to make minions in it move to somewhere else).

I've mentioned all of the "lol they're playing the game for you" Dalamud Plugins in the other thread repeatedly, you need Questionable (quests), TextAdvance (Skipping through said quests) Rotation Solver Reborn (Rotations), Autoduty (Queueing for duties, though you might want to do that yourself), BossMod Reborn (If you're using Autoduty, makes it able to avoid any AoE that's more complicated than an ARR dungeon) vnavmesh (Mobility), and Lifestream (Teleportation) for it. All of these are absolutely free.

Repos here.
Dalamud itself
Combat Reborn (Rotation Solver/BossMod Reborn)
Limiana (Lifestream, TextAdvance)
Punish-Herc (Autoduty)
Liza Carvelli (Questionable, Gearsetter)
Punish-Veyn (vnavmesh)

I'd recommend playing through the Dawntrail MSQ normally, just so you can at least experience it for yourself.

But now that a lot of the game has opened up for you, take breaks and fuck around with other stuff as other people mentioned. Lots of breaks.
Hell, you can sink an obscene amount of time into the Island Sanctuary content.

I highly, HIGHLY reccomend going for the "A Card in the Hand" achievement. You have to do basically every single piece of non-High End content other than Ocean Fishing, PvP, Treasure Maps, and Class/Role Quests for it.

The things you can do...
Eureka (all 4 of it, plus Baldesion Arsenal for the ORB) - BUY A KIRIN'S OSODE OR VERMILLION CLOAK BEFORE GOING IN, IT MAKES IT LIKE THREE TIMES EASIER
Bozja (And Zadnor, and Delubrum Reginae, and DRS for the CERB)
Variant Dungeons (all 3 of them)
Deep Dungeons (all 3 of them)
A Zodiac Relic, perhaps?
Anima Relic, it's a tome dump with some story attached to it
The Warring Triad's storyline
The "Four Lords" storyline
The Sorrow of Werlyt
Island Sanctuary (spreadsheet simulator when you've set it up)
Tataru's Gread Endeavors (Small sidequests that you can do after doing the Shadow of Mhach, Four Lords, and Sorrow of Werlyt quests, there's another 2 after you do all three of those)
Hildibrand, Further Hildibrand, Even Further Hildibrand, and Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures. The quests are an acquired taste, to say the least. But they're mandatory for the Endwalker Relics, and have two triple triad cards and a mount.
Do the stupid "Allied Society" daily quests. They take a while but they're a quick thing to do every day and you get a funny mount at the end of each one like a giant dandelion. Also most of them are mandatory for A Card in the Hand so...

You can also get all of the EX Trial mounts. There's a special yellow quest you can do after doing this, per expansion.
The best one of them is the Landerwaffe imo.

Giant mechanical dragon that seats 2 players and its BGM is epic. Unlike the EW one that I had to change with Pocket Orchestrion.

Question: is it possible to solo the SHB trials yet? I'd like to try and grab the dragon mech mount, but I'd rather not have to try and wrangle a bunch of people together to grind for the damn thing; I already had enough shit like that back with the ARR mounts.

Only Innocence.

Everything else is varying shades of easy with an 8-man though. Hades, so far, has taken the longest to farm because of forced cutscenes, and although 90% of the mechanics can be skipped and are easy to deal with, they still have a few things that need to be respected or else you'll wipe.

Warrior of Light also needs to be 8-manned specifically for one mechanic, and it's advised to run the traditional 2 tank, 2 healer comp for that one specifically because of how that one mechanic works. (People need to spread in teams of two to every corner of the arena to soak meteors. Meteors tend to target every single Tank and every single Healer for a total of four. Splitting off into 4 separate Tank/DPS and Healer/DPS pairs is the easiest way to simplify this mechanic. Otherwise, it's impossible to tell who will get what, and then it becomes a dice roll whether ONE pair dies, or half the party dies.)

I'm still intending to mount farm Shadowbringers myself and I'm up to Hades, but people are so incorrigibly stupid or impatient in the Party Finder and farming runs of Hades takes so long because of forced cutscenes that I've lost all will to keep going.

It's actually really reassuring to read how much stuff there still is I can do even if I want to take a break before doing any DT stuff. I may go for this achievement; That sounds like a fun challenge.

Titania too. It was even possible to solo her in EW

Titania - Easy, depending on DPS you may need to phase-lock her
Innocence - Easy
Hades - Very boring
Ruby Weapon - Boring, the only mechanic you need to worry about its the adds and that's if they even spawn
Emerald Weapon - Boring, walk to the edges to not get knocked into the deathwall by the sword KBs
WOLidibus - This has two mechanics that you need to respect (HP Doom, LB4)
Diamond Weapon - Hey did you know that tanks can not only survive but also fully mitigate and take 0 damage from the side-swipe with enough personal mitigation and their shield?
Warrior of Light also needs to be 8-manned specifically for one mechanic, and it's advised to run the traditional 2 tank, 2 healer comp for that one specifically because of how that one mechanic works
lol no, the healers are needed for a Doom (Heal to Full) mechanic, you only need 1 tank. You don't see LB3 Meteors anymore.

Literally every single WoL farm run I've done since Dawntrail dropped, you absolutely still have to do LB3 Meteors and they still happen. I doubt this has suddenly become skippable with Savage gear and, even if it has, the average PF party nine times out of ten can't hack it.

I appear to have forgotten what the mechanical timeline was.
Anyway here's players somehow skipping the forced tank LB3
That's really odd that people were able to survive a bad Meteor drop. I've seen that consistently just delete either two players, one player, or half the party when it's not stacked right/when RNG just decides to throw it on two (or more) people in the same corner if you don't do proper party comp.

Honestly, 2 Tank 2 Healer is just to guarantee the PF safe strat. Never underestimate how stupid and bad the average PF joiner is.

Our HP is that damn high now. There's probably a food buff involved here for that bit more HP, and they both had Tempera Grassa up.

Again, I would have to make the case that I really cannot rely on people being that competent or geared in a PF farm party.

It's astounding just how braindead people can be with this sort of thing.

The PF that the video was from had a IL700+ requirement, but you're right on how braindead people can be in PF. The [Duty Complete] option exists for a reason.
