Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

I think this person's more talking about the misappropriation of the species towards reptiles which lore wise they aren't and they aren't dragonkin either rather they are their own race. And the native american to indian part might be referring to how native american's sometimes get misappropriated with the nationality of India sometimes. I personally am willing to play devil's advocate with my interpretation of this post and possibly say I agree, but you could be right and this is all about a harmless "lol lizert" short hand bitching. But I'm not getting those vibes.
I dunno.

He's also the same retard that missed blatantly obvious story cues regarding a character coming back from the dead and possessing a body and had a meltdown when his chat was genuinely confused he missed such an obvious story beat.

Yet he's hyperfocused on 'story', lol.

Unrelated to above, but somewhat in line with 'this game's fanbase are fucking idiots', here's a funny spergout. REEE don't use shorthand to describe a player race REEE they have breasts REEE

(And yes, he is correct about the general background for Au Ra, but he said it in the most ridiculous fashion.)
i feel that behind this spergery is a retard who is either prissy and faggy or edgy and faggy enough to play or simp for someone playing an au'ra that got too mad at the meme comments calling them lizards

Even the faggiest people playing this shit don give a fuck if their fantasy catboys or edgy lizard fucks get called that

Pyromancer popped up on my Twitch recommendations today and apparently he's getting married in 4 days?

I'm sure it'll be a pairing that will last a lifetime.

Considering Pyromancer was an unironic Sylvanas simp before Shadowlands in his WoW days where he said "If you don't like Sylvanas you hate waman" tier arguments, I'm sure his taste in women is amazing. I'm sure he thinks Yotsuyu is just completely misunderstood too and anyone that dislikes her hates waman.

This is the first time in years that the game has caught me offguard
i also watched the cutscene in both languages, and JP > EN, fight me

Why? It's fun watching your head explode sometimes.

It's a shame it took so long for her to get interesting. Same goes for most of the Scions, really.
I'm one of five people that liked Papalymo and Yda, so I had a whole lot of fun during the post-patches of Heavensward!

Seriously speaking, it's almost funny how most of the Scions were pretty bland up until the expansions. They masquerade it pretty well by having post-ARR be all about humbling Alphinaud and HW fleshing him out more as a character feat. Tataru and Ishgard's everything, with no Scions at all until the post-HW content.
I'd argue Thancred started getting interesting in HW (then Stormblood barely had him, but ShB more than makes up for it), Urianger was.. just kind of there aside from his relationship with Moenbryda and being a two-timer up until ShB, where he turned out one of my favorites next to Thancred; and Y'shtola existed to sell merchandise and be the stern mom type up until post-HW, where she got more than a puddle's worth of depth with Matoya. Then a bit more with the Nights' Blessed, but still not much.
6.1 having more focus on her beyond "token sassy cat mage" was a really good move, but it feels like it took way longer for her to have any kind of character arc or development. Are they gonna bring up her aether overuse to compensate for no vision lowering her lifespan again? Or have her sister show up outside of the Summoner questline and post-HW? No idea.

The twins arguably get the most development out of the Scions, and Tataru had some great development in post-ARR before most of her "trying to find a skill" quests were removed because something something padding. She's still changed and developed, but it's not as obvious. I still find it cute that all throughout Heavensward you can find her making some money for the Scions by being a jack-of-all-trades in the Forgotten Knight, even if it's very easy to miss.

Found this retard who has a really unhealthy fixation on Ryne/Eden.

In general, they seem to put a ridiculous emphasis/value on fictional fanships, as there's a deluge of posts for some other anime/cartoon.

They're starting to get a bit salty after a week of posting this shit.
Lots of man and women children seem to have weird fixations on young characters having homosexual relationships. Look at owl house, korra, and Star.

I get the appeal of shipping and find it fun in tame amounts, but this enjoyment can easily get buried under heaps and mounds of autistic people and fujos catfighting each other and/or being asshats to "nonbelievers" that don't shove the same Barbie and Ken dolls together or get the appeal overall. There's lighthearted Twilight-esque debates over Team Zenos or Team Emet, and then there's sincerely being upset and screeching homophobia over "I think Ryne is straight", or calling off friendships and screaming about how the friend you had five minutes ago is "problematic" because they like the wrong character or the wrong artist/author. The individuals that're dead serious and obsessive over this sort of thing tend to be the same people that can't comprehend what the dialogue means or understand that liking the super-mega-evil characters does not make you a fascist in real life, big surprise.

The obsession some people have over Ryne/Eden and throwing shit at the devs because "why won't this game with little to no kissing or romance make these good friends canon gay lovers?" will never not be the funniest thing to me.
It gets less funny when they're a lot older than the teenage girls they're visibly obsessed with (and proper obsessed, not just finding it cute or liking the idea), but the "fiction is serious business and if you like thing you're bad" crowd cares more about Gaius and Zenos having fans and not being "held accountable" by the plot.

Man why didn't we have the choice at the end of Sorrows of Werlyt to just shoot Gaius in the head at the end!? Now he is alive and allowed to exist and atone for the rest of his life! Alonement is not enough! I need B L O O D because I am the Warrior of Light.

The absolute irony that people unironically try to talk like this, and they swear they're more the hero in their own version of this story is slightly scary to me. The concept of being a "classical hero" feels lost on this generation, which is extremely unfortunate as I find good characters forcing themselves to be good in shitty settings and situations really interesting.

Does Ryne have a cannon age because I always thought she was like, 12. LOL

She's at least a teenager I know that much, I'd probably put her at around 13-15, so younger then the twins who are meant to be 16 during ARR because she seems a lot less mature and put together then them. Athough her backstory might be due to that more then just her age. Ryne is clearly meant to be the youngest character in the main ShB cast due to how she is framed and fits within the group.

It really peeves me they won't give the twins more adult looking models now, is there some lore thing that Elezen age really slowly? 16-18 is such a drastic change appearance wise.

Yeah. Just perusing the many threads this dude has tossed up, it seems any sort of discussion or interpretation that doesn't fit with the Ryne/Gaia being secret lesbian lovers is either downvoted or memoryholed.

And, I'm not an expert in Japanese shit, but my understanding is that these sort of platonic/pseudo-romantic relationships are a kind of a thing in Japanese media. It doesn't mean they're munching each other's rugs.

Yeah, it's incredibly creepy how some of these folks are fixated on two minors having a relationship, like this dude who apparently is a hetero dude.

Which makes you wonder why he's so interested in 2 young girls being gay.

I also agree that the folks who are the biggest proponents of how AMAZING the story is in this game understand it the fucking least. Never fails to amuse me.

Literally yes.

So the idea is Elezen effectively peak at the tween age body for several years after they reach that age, and then hit an extremely quick growth spurt where they end up tall and lanky forever. Urianger talks about this in regards to the twins still being so young somewhere, I forgot where but he effectively goes "Ah yes I remember when I just randomly grew at least 15 inches tall and became more manly when I was a twink. Very good times."

The exact age is unknown or just really vague, but I think it occurs to around early adulthood so depending on the timeline (which lmao this game is in a fucking time bubble forever probably) the twins are due to hit this point any day now. I was hoping we'd get it now, but I guess not. I really do want to see them grow up because them being stuck as teens is getting really old, and it'd be nice to see them get a cool model update. I know most don't like the base Elezen model, but they can customize their models if they want to make them look less like shit.

Yes, I quite like the twins, especially Alphinaud, and I really think updating their models proper will help to drive home how much they have matured over the years, as they each have had the most growth in characterisations of all the scions (imo) but it's hard to take them seriously when they still look so young.

On another note, I personally think it would have been nice for them to enter Sharlayan all grown up, could have added a nice touch to daddy being scared he is losing his kids and they no longer need him/becoming their own persons/just how much he missed of their maturing.
