Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

I highly suspect one of those discord guys also posts on rpgcodex under the name Thalstarion. There is a user on the OF named Theodric and the takes and posting styles of both posters match up. Also in one of the imgr screenshots of the expose there is a user on the Discord server with the exact same profile pic Thal has on the codex.
Of course I could be wrong and it could be a completely different person but there are way too many similarities to raise suspicion.
Here's the PG thread about the XIV community if you'd like to share some more.

Playing monk is really fun and feels good. Sometimes I play the job and I just regain my love for it.
At first my love for monk was just a bias, but I really like how it is now. I just hope they've found a good little niche for it and they stop reworking it. I've played a different variant of monk every expansion. This one feels the best imo.

Ah, I didn't see someone already posted the comic. This reminds me of when that one anon infiltrated the discord of the guy who created this comic (they formed out of the Lackuster Story in Endwalker thread originally), and exposed them as a group of faggots and trannies who raid not just the official forums, but other websites, including reddit, twitter and 4chan in attempts to "correct" people who disagreed that Venat was literally hitler incarnate. Like if any random person anywhere on the internet simply said "I like venat and think she did nothing wrong" they would swiftly be swarmed by the Trancercord and dogpilled. They'd even go as far as to mass-report people on the OF forums to get them banned for disagreeing with them, they'd dig through your post history to find some instance of you swearing or some other bannable offense and mass-report, literally because you didn't agree that Venat=Bad.

I managed to find the original expose in a /xivg/ thread, warning it's a gigantic read:

I think after this expose the discord link was dropped in the thread and people from /xivg/ raided their discord until they were forced to shut it down. I'm not really sure what's happened to them since then but they seemed to have largely died off since I don't see the Lackluster Endwalker Story thread (their personal base of operations there) get bumped over on the OF forums these days.
That was one hell of a fucking read and another example of how mentally ill this community is. My personal favorites were the people who talked about how they needed to go to therapy after they completed EW. One said they were literally bedridden for three whole days after beating the msq and demanded an apology from Ishikawa and Yoshi for it. Screenshots for context.

Anyways I ground out all my crafters to 80 and got a house. So I’m happy about that.

I picked up Monk for times when I don't feel like running Scholar or Summoner, and I haven't regretted it at all. It's a ton of fun! So satisfying to run content as.

Also; Now that husband and I are about ~6 hours into Shadowbringers proper, I wanted to amend my earlier comments on Stormblood. I feel like I was overly negative, when I really did have an enjoyable time with the expansion despite those flaws. It did have some good moments!

I totally enjoyed the second Lakshmi fight, which is about as much fun as I've had with a non-dungeon duty encounter so far. Raubahn and Nanamo's parting was suitably emotional, and I liked seeing the nigger's plot arc come full circle. He's been an enjoyable character and wholly the reason I picked the Flames for my GC. Arenvald and Fordola were definitely stand outs from the background cast and I'd only wish we got to see more of them.

Even Yotsuyu, who I'm pretty critical of, had some cool moments during the return to Doma after all the Ala Mhigo stuff came to a head. Her voice acting was also pretty well-cast I think, a lot of her line deliveries were spot on.

I'm going to try to focus less on the bad stuff with the game. It doesn't have to be a flawless masterpiece to be fun- And so far, yes, it has been fun. If I get even another 200 or so hours out of the remaining MSQ I will be fully satisfied with my purchase.

I'm not sure if Thalstarion and Theodric are one in the same, but I know Theodric posts on MMO-champion as Graeham. He's an oldfag (playing since ARR) homosexual Garlean RPer and will argue that the Garlean Empire did nothing wrong unironically. After Garlemald got JUSTed in ShB he switched to stanning the Ascians, then got mindbroken when his headcanon of Hydaelyn being evil and being the final boss of EW turned out to not happen, and we didn't end up siding with the Ascians and killing all the sundered to revive the Ancient masterrace. He's had at least one twitter account, and he and his discord buddies would spend all day seething about Venat and picking retarded gay fights with random people who disagreed, often completley unprompted, or towards something completley innocuous, such as pic related:

Aaron Darkblade is Theodric, no clue who Soren is, either another Trancercord member or one of his sock accounts (this is another thing they liked to do, make sock twitter accounts to samefag eachother and make them look like there's more of them then there actually are. They did the same on reddit and other sites, one of them got banned thanks to the guy who infiltrated their discord reporting them to reddit mods for using their discord for blatant vote-brigading, than he proceeded to brag that he had "more accounts" and he'd make even more to ban evade). I don't recognize the name Thalstarion though, but Theodric's gone by many names so it's plausible.

I‘ve definitely seen the Soren guy all over Twitter causing shit and thankfully getting slapped down in the process with people posting the trancer comic to make fun of him.
Also I don’t have a rpgcodex account so I can’t go very far into someone’s post history but I remember awhile back Thalsarion complaining about the lack of good character customization options for gay men who play XIV and that gay players supposedly got harassed by fujos on the OF for asking for more masculine designs. So that might be a link.

EDIT: Looked through his twitter account and yeah the two are definitely the same. They use the same words and takes, for example complain about how the game supposedly started as an Ivalice love letter and his Garlean stanning. I might do a write up of the Zodiark trancers and anti venat drama in the community watch thread when I have the time and energy to.

He's very political, and engages in the anti-woke conversation. And while I actually agree with much of his political takes, he's still a giant faggot. There's another member of the trancercord (Memelizard @misscallistis, shows up in a lot of FFXIV and anti-woke conversations on X) . He's a femra player who used to be a well known and liked avatarfag on /xivg/, but being outed as part of the Trancercord that day destroyed his reputation and he got chased out. Also pretty deeply engaged in the culture-war topic, while being a massive degenerate (to put it VERY lightly, his twitter buttbuddy engages in some extremely disgusting fetishes, which Memelizard regularily retweets. All I know is he's korean, and him and his twitter buddy seem to be in some gay/tranny relationship).

Some of these Trancer guys have fairly reasonable political takes that you'll find if you dig into them, but they're simultaneously giant, mentally ill, degenerate fags. Anyway if you want to dig into these guys they're a largely untapped well of mental illness. Not many people outside of the OF forums and 4chan really know much about them, but they seem to have largely calmed down after their discord got exposed last year.

Didn't that guy make a small youtube channel? I might be confusing him with someone else. I'll link it if I run across it again.

Last I heard some other dudes got him banned from the official forums.

I liked him, he made EW fags seethe and it was highly entertaining.

I dunno, but I do remember he got (wrongfully) banned after calling out Sena for his unrepetent troonery. He didn't even misgender him, or make any direct personal attacks, just criticized in a thread critical of Sena. Lots of people got banned that thread.

I actually had tons of serious issues about EW (I liked it initially, but the more I thought about it retroactively the more I disliked it, and the 6.x patches were a fucking travesty and an ill omen of what was to come in Dawntrail), Personally I just thought Theodric and his ilk were way too fixated on Venat/Ancients/Sundering, to a retarded degree, they were missing the forest for the trees. I maintain Venat was one of the best written parts of Endwalker and have no idea why these spergs thought the writers were trying to justify genocide with the Sundering. It's pretty clearly presented as a necessary evil, and even Hydaelyn herself said it was caused immense pain and suffering and was not justice. These guys believed that we should've been able to call Venat an evil, race-traitor whore and twisted her tipples off and because we didn't do that somehow the writers were somehow being genocide apologists.

But yeah no I thought Endwalker was severely flawed myself but these guys had the dumbest, most unhinged fucking fixation on what was one of the better written parts of the expansion. But boy does Endwalker look like a goddamned masterpiece compared to Dawntrail.

Let's be honest here, SE could have hired Patrick Tomlinson to write Yawntrail's scenario and he would have done a better job than Hiroi. That bar is so low it's in another reflection.
I know you meant to imply the bar is extremely low but I draw the line at Fatrick Hamlinson. Hiroi is still better than the pig.

Really unsure if I should even jump back into the game at this rate; on one hand, I'm hesitant to renew my sub given how disastrous Dawntrail is, and the tranny infestation is a good a reason as any to avoid it. On top of that, I've got both other games to work on, and IRL stuff to take care of.

On the other hand, there's still quite a bit of content that I'd like to do; never completed the Bozja storyline, haven't done most of the raids, I never even completed the post-MSQ stuff for Endwalker.

Decisions, decisions...

At least the pig managed to (accidentally) write a funny character with his orange man homologue in one of his books. We could have had Orange Lizard Bad, talking about how the other tribes are not sending their best, instead we got a moustache twirling edgelord of an antagonist who the writer didn't even have the balls to fully play into so he falls mostly flat.

Hiroi is not even capable of accidental humor, he is only capable of one thing: contemptible, masturbatory fan fiction.

And this is the biggest sin of Yawntrail for me, it's not that it's bad (it is, awfully so) but it's just so FUCKING BORING.

Sigh...okay.
I should really...you know. Put my nose to the grindstone and level my WAR and PLD. I'll do it after I finish cooking.

Bozja storyline was neat. Shame that it had such a flat ending though. Didn't care much for the Roe bitch who tried to have some glorified redemption arc at the end. Didn't like her all the way through. Glad she bit the dust.

Sorry for the double post, but did any of you guys hear about what's going on with Sfia and this whole "women applying for world first teams" bit he did on twitter?

I don't use twitter but I hear that he was pointing out that women don't usually apply for world first and that he wanted to see more. But then supposedly, he has a history of denying women entry and using his position to cheat on his girlfriend with multiple women according to this screen shot:

Random detail that annoys me: in the Aether Current quests for Urqopacha there's a merchant who's been scammed by an Eorzean into buying corrupted crystals because he thinks they're valuable and asks for your help in unloading them after he discovers he's just bought the magical equivalent of toxic waste. The justification is that Tural doesn't have corrupted crystals despite them being incredibly commonplace in Eorzea.

It makes sense that badly aspected crystals are more common in Eorzea because Eorzea seems to be the centerpiece of more calamities and the Seventh left a lot around, but how the hell do they try to justify having no idea what they are when there's examples of Tuliyollans using crystals in the fucking MSQ? Crystals being the ubiquitous basis of aether storage and transportation across the entire world, we're supposed to believe that they've never had one explode? Does Tuliyollal have literally any history outside of vague tribal warfare? Even that is handwaving aside the idea that there are no primals or forms of summoning whatsoever. Even the Far East had summoning via artifacts. Did the Ascians just never make the trip over there? Why is Tuliyollal more disconnected from the rest of the Source than the damn shards?
