Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

yeah the non-POV DRK is probably the only competent person in that video (the NIN too i guess)
POV DRK: Doesn't use Dark Mind, doesn't use Shadow Wall, doesn't use Shadowskin or Convalesence, has MACROED COMBOS, and spends far too long doing literally nothing while "soaking damage"... unmitigated
White Mage: Cure 1. I don't care if it was "good" back then, no it fucking wasn't and it especially isn't if you're using it on players who are at full health.
Scholar: Do they even case Adlo once?
Black Mages: *drops enochian*
Summo
MACROED COMBOS? THAT makes me want to vomit

If I had to guess they're probably an FFXI vet. Higher end content was unplayable without multi-action macros. Your average weapon skill macro would have multiple gear swaps (as certain skills scaled off of certain stats), a self-buff if applicable, and finally the weapon skill itself, followed by another gear swap back to your 'accuracy' set (as the base accuracy for auto-attacks was abysmal in that game). Add in the necessary pause lines to account for the GCD, self/party notifications about the skills you're performing, and resource/recast timers. Macros got pretty intense.

Lol there was a dude that used to fuck around with a 6 button, 36 line, party wide macro for a minor Monk ability that had a 1 minute cooldown, complete with all the annoying <call> sound effects. It was obnoxious as fuck, had 11 lines of Dragon Ball esque RP nonsense in /party chat, 8 emotes about his power level, 7 sound effects, and a zone-wide shout to let everyone know about his "power". It took almost the entire 1 min cooldown duration to perform, and of course, was copied by every monk with a gamefaqs account because it was peak comedy in 2005.

There's something almost charmingly old school retarded about that. The early 2000s were a goofy fucking time online.

For any WoW veterans: /shout "I am summoning a steed of nightmare!"

I always hated that shit. No one fucking cares about your Naruto larp or whatever.

I don't know about that, but have you ever heard of [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]?

The steed of nightmare thing was from something like 'Warlock Helper' addon and it had a macro for summoning their class unique horse.

A lot of fucking people used it.

I was making another older WoW community joke that ended up getting recycled when WoW Classic dropped, damn it.

On run #300 of Prae.

The Halloween event has started, I'll do it on my main in a few hours.

I like the top and the potential for what can be done with it as a glamour. You could pull off more "military formal" looks with it provided you combine it with appropriate other pieces.

The rest, I don't remotely care for.

The top has tiny wings on the back that sadly ruin any attempt at looking formal.

Well, that's shit.
We don't have the ability to SE-sanctioned dress up as the Dawntrail NPCs in Sneaky Hollow.
(Note: I have been around since December 2022 so if you were able to transform into Endwalker NPCs in 2022 call me a retard newfag)
