Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

i'm in a CWLS with a bunch of actual women
all of them have mare
one of them has a modbeast twink malera

you underestimate the perversions of the fujoshi
I remember being told growing up that it was exclusively men that were constantly perverted and dirty and women never really thought about those sort of things.

Now three decades of living on the internet has taught me to believe in a form of gender equality- Both men and women are equally capable of being filthy minded degenerates, especially in MMORPGs.

someone and they got a default naked model.
actually coming back to this, was it a male or female character that got inspected

female: pretty standard bibo+ usage, they changed it from SFW Bra/Undies to nude breasts and type a/b/c bottoms, and in a typical woman moment forgot to set Bibo to "my character only" in penumbra
male: in my opinion anyone who downloads TBSE deserves to be nailed on a cross for their heresy, and it shows how much of a cumbrained femcel legbeard she is

Both men and women are equally capable of being filthy minded degenerates, especially in MMORPGs.
i was introduced to this rabbit hole by a biofem lol

edit: SFW not SFX lol

Well...if Yoshi Peepee was serious about what he said last time, you can kiss your precious ultimates goodbye
Nah. They aren't gonna stop doing Ultimates over this. Even if Yoshi P himself insists on it.

The raiders may be heavily outnumbered by the casuals. But remember, the raiders are also the people who stick around during the lull periods. So they serve a necessary function to act as the "population floor" for the game so the queues don't collapse, and so that you don't have the casuals all start to say the game is "dead" and send them into a death-spiral where people insist the game is dead, causing fewer people to play and killing the game faster.

It's why despite the game being very casual-oriented, they still try to space things out so every major patch (except .5) we'll get either a savage tier or an ultimate.

Also with Dawntrail having such a bad MSQ it's probably all that more important. Since a bad MSQ doesn't cause raiders to unsub.

People get sloppy and just forget, generally.
In this case specifically, I can see how easily the mistake happens.

You've just been raiding for 16 hours straight and you believe you might be the first players in the world to clear. So excitement and tiredness impairs your judgement and you accidentally incriminate yourself with your mods.

Especially since the person who posted the screenshot wasn't even playing, they were the 9th man you usually see in some teams who sits in Discord and watches the livestream to try and capture mechanics, review videos and theorycraft while the others prog.

Gotta ask, is tbe cheating problem abundant in ff14?
casual pve content: no
erp: yes. wait, you mean hacks, they're cheating on IRL and e-dating relationships
ex trials: that depends on if you count parsing
savage raids: yes
ultimate raids: DUDE ONE MORE AUTOMARKER I NEED MORE AUTOMARKER JUST ONE MORE AUTOMARKER AND WE CAN CLEAR THIS
pvp: yes but it's mmominion and not dalamud which means it's worse and these fuckers paid for it
crafting: literally everyone does it because the macro system is ping dependent
the market: depends on the item
eureka: it's not cheating but there is usually at least one chad who has Eureka Linker active so that we can actually keep track of what is and isn't up
diadem: just let them bot it, this is not a place of honor (If someone's using Single Route instead of Double Route, they're likely botting.)
(except .5)
we got Aloalo Criterion Savage in 6.5 which gives you shiny versions of the Credendum Weapons, hopefully we get more Criterions in DT

There's no point in tirelessly working so hard to program and create this kind of difficult content if a group of retards are always going to undermine their efforts by cheating in some way. At the very least, world firsts will no longer be recognized because 99% of the time, it's not legit anyway.

Ironically it's the people all about HONORU who were caught....again.

At the very least, if you're gonna cheat, cheat in a way where people can't tell that you're cheating. Cheaters are getting sloppy and assume there aren't people autistic enough to find out. The Japs don't learn. I guess the first example wasn't enough and if it wasn't enough the second one won't be either. It's gonna keep happening until Yoshi gets tired of it and just stops production on ultimates altogether.

Congrats sweaty top players, ya played yourselves.
God, I hope this is the last Ultimate that gets released. That would be hilarious.

There was someone I know of who was running a bunch of addons and I guess there was some nude mod they were running. They were streaming on Twitch, which is how I found them, and they had a freakout when they inspected someone and they got a default naked model.
Slight PL, but there is also someone I know who eventually had to make the executive decision to never stream XIV again because she keeps forgetting to turn off her nude mods. She is also chronically predisposed to previewing glamours, hence it's inevitable she will pull up her own character's model naked and be completely surprised and embarrassed by it every single time.

Gotta ask, is tbe cheating problem abundant in ff14?
The amount of people who modify their game may statistically be minimal for the most part, but they are certainly outspoken.

If they're casual, or console-only, chances are they probably just use aesthetic and nude mods for the game. And if you're wondering how console players might do this, I've found they usually have a lower end laptop that they only ever use for modding. (They also tend to bitch about "burning their laptop down" because all the visual mods they use often overheat their laptops.)

If they're raiders? I say this without any hard evidence but from a berth of observation, but it seems like EVERY raider who's dedicated to raiding eventually uses mods/"cheats".

A large enough percentage do, that you can never assume anyone got anything legit. So uh yeah, like I wrote earlier no hard content means anything in this game because they all cheat. Each and every one of them also has some fucking cope about their cheating "Yeah I use X but it's not Y!!!" "I use Y while raiding but it's only a Y-mod. It should be in the game by default anyways!!" "We used Z but it still takes skill... I BET YOU COULDN'T DO IT EVEN WITH Z!!!" None of them - not a single one ever says "yeah, i thought it was too hard so I cheated to get the reward" rats, all of them.
Imagine going to compete in a race and then one dipshit shows up on a bike going "well yeah, I might be on a bike but atleast I'm not driving a car. Besides, you can also just get a bike to compete with me. Really, the sport should've adapted to wheels by now, it's silly we even have to use our feet. I mean, riding a bike is basically just as difficult as running anyways, you just move your feet up and down, this is just a small quality of life improvement so my running shoes don't get muddy. It's the race organizers fault I'm even using a bike, they should've implemented crazy security making everything more inconvenient for the non bike users just catch me so I can't bring my bike. Yeah, they keep asking me not to use a bike and disregarding me if I win since I used a bike, but as long as they arent beating me to death with a bat or physically blocking me from ever coming close to the arena, that means they are actually cool with bikes so long as I don't talk about it! Haha".
Fuck it, enough is enough. I would 100% support getting some ring 0 access nightmare anti cheat that perma spies on my computer and sells it to the feds if it means getting rid of all the modbeasts and cheaters. I hate them and their constant coping with such a burning passion nothing short of TCD (TOTAL CHEATER DEATH) would suffice.

I dont have a problem when its things like this because if youre a busy kiwi and you have a limited time to play, knowing spawns like that can help you decide if you wanna wait or do something else. Personally they should add said timer into eureka just to have an idea of when X spawns.

A large enough percentage do, that you can never assume anyone got anything legit
and it's for this exact reason that SE can't do anything about it, not because they don't want to, but because it would be a severe financial blow to them if they decided to go Total Modder Death, short of changing sigs every single week the only thing they can do to curb the problem is doing what WOW did, admitting defeat and making a list of developer-approved plugins that they won't penalize you for using

knowing spawns like that can help you decide if you wanna wait or do something else.
basically it tracks known Elemental positions, as well as being able to create Eureka Trackers and update them without manual input.
also it tracks how long you've been in eureka (any instance) on this character , how many chests you've opened, and how many bunnies you helped that died before they got to their destination

I support TMD/TCD if just because the amount of seethe from the playerbase would be funny.

I'm already very checked out of the game at this point so I'm unbothered if something drastic should happen.

I have a morbid curiosity to install Mare and just walk around and see what is different and who these degenerates are.
I obviously would be stealthing it without making it obvious and no changes for myself. Just wanna see what other degenerates have when I run into them.

it's opt-in, you'd need to join public syncshells to see what goes down, you can't just see a random modbeast on the side of limsa without giving them your code
speaking of which, you need to make an account in the server or have someone give you an alt secret key to do that
also you need penumbra and glamourer, they're dependencies
plus customise+, simple heels and honorific so that you can see their stupid extreme scaling, heels ten inches off the ground, and super original edgy title

but i'd recommend just looking at other people's videos who have already done it before you

Yes.
Auto-rotations and the like used to be relegated to addons for bot clients/launchers, but have now become an established and accepted part of dalamud.
I used to use something called XIVCombo that relegated the basic 1-2-3 combos to a single button push like they are in pvp which i used for some classes to reduce button bloat to keep a tidy compact and small UI, and some other QoL autoswaps that the recent expansion sort of started adding any (autoswapping 2 minute burst big attacks with the buff itself, etc)
Some would already call that cheating, I just called it "Im unfucking my DRK/GNB hotbar"

Now it has other varients such as Wrath which will literally just compact a fully optimized context driven rotation into a single button push with an auto-mode. Just as a normal plugin. And the sad part is, the base XIVcombo plugin still has not been updated to work with the last story patch, while wrath was almost day 1 patched, showing a significant shift in userbase to the fully automated varient. Combine that with some of the other stuff like cactbot and the game literally plays itself for you without the need for a cheat client.

If you play PvP you will find an absurd amount of blatant cheaters (the funniest ones are the speedhackers)

Nah. They aren't gonna stop doing Ultimates over this. Even if Yoshi P himself insists on it.
God, I hope this is the last Ultimate that gets released. That would be hilarious.
It would be funny as fuck though if we end up getting some type of announcement where Yoshi Peepee seethes about it. I would settle for the cheaters to get the same treatment as their predecessors. Makes me wonder if some of the people in that group are the same people who cheated for TOP.

The hacking in PVP is largely ignored. I knew of a guy once who used to stream himself cheating by using hacks blatantly out in the open and was never punished for it despite the whole point of his stream being for him to get caught and punished.
Dunno if he ended up getting tapped on the booty by a GM but a lot of people hated him because of what he was doing while he gained a small cult following that supported him because he was trying to send a message and was proving how lax the team was in actually combating the hacking problem. It led to a lot of people quitting PVP because playing legit just meant you weren't ever going to go anywhere near the top. If it wasn't hackers cheating to the top spots, it was organized win trading going on that gatekept players from top PVP rankings.

I dunno what any of the fuck this means, but it was a male character. I believe they were checking glams, but its been a while.

Bibo+ and TBSE are the most common male and female body conversion mods, respectively
i'm an idiot, that was supposed to say SFW
basically with body mods in addition to being able to change the size of your breasts separately from the slider (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large) you can pick whether you want to cover them up (SFW), have them out (Nude), or have them like a pervert thinks they act (Perky).
For the A/B/C, that's the vagina, you're basically picking what pussy phrenology you have.

TBSE, while I haven't used it, most likely has options for the underwear that amount to if the character has it on or not, and the size/cut status/flaccidity of the penis.

cactbot is a timeline and callouts, if you mean ACT actual cheats that's Triggernometry

I have reached lvl 50 with AST. Honestly i can see someone who truly knows AST in and out being a great addition to any party since it is so versatile. Honestly im enjoying it a little more than i expected. I think he will be my main healer class since ive seen some glam that is just too pretty for me to pass off.
I'm almost done with LVLing DRG and I'm probably following with AST because of this post. I see it has a lot of mobility with instant casts, so it sounds fun to play a mobility healer.
I've only ever played WHM so I'll do a follow up if its fun or im tearing out the hair from my scalp.

Either or, really. Point was combined with things like Wrath, your attacks are automated and where and when you stand is directly told to you, so there is literally zero input other than you wasd'ing your merry way to the glowy circle.
If it wasn't hackers cheating to the top spots, it was organized win trading going on that gatekept players from top PVP rankings.
The discord is open invite for the pvp cheats on mmominion last i checked, they openly brag about their placements and there's easily 50-100+ per server (or all servers, since they'd make multiple characters just to try get as many rewards as possible) sharing rankings, I would safely say literally 99.5% of any players on the higest ranked ladder of pvp are cheaters. You have literally zero chance of legit earning the exclusive ranked rewards, they exist basicaly only for cheaters to gain at this point.

I honestly don't know how they could possibly counter the rampant cheating.
They aren't even really equipped to handle people secretly using add ons or hacks and have to rely on players to report people or morons streaming themselves using tools for them to get thrown into the goolag.

I suppose they could designate GMs to specifically watch over PVP matches, but I don't think they have the man power. They'd be camped there literally all day. I imagine that the PVP scene is so scarce that they don't really care if there are cheaters as cheaters are probably the only ones left even engaging with PVP content now.

I still don't understand why they haven't made that official at all, at least as an option. it already pissed me off 5 years ago.
