Dramacow FineBros - Copyrighting React Videos Controversy, the Ongoing Shitstorm, Sadly Increasing Subs

How long will this fiasco continue until everyone suddenly forgets about it at the end?

Admittedly, it could be a while. Not only are other content creators pumping out their thoughts and opinions on the matter, further spreading information on the drama, there are individuals who are making comments about the issue in the comment sections of other unrelated Youtube channels.

For example, in a few of Markiplier's videos, there have been comments from people saying things akin to "hunkering down here until the FineBros shitstorm blows over"; some people responding haven't heard about it and go to investigate while others jump in on the conversation and spread information about what's happening.

Similar comments are probably popping up in the comments on other channels as well, particularly of any Youtuber who has been featured on the FineBros channel, so I don't think it'll be dying out within the month.

13.6, don't slow me down...
Well, according to this: https://tfbsubscribers.github.io/?interval=220
they are only losing 10-1 5 subs every minute instead of 60-75 per minute like last night...so they are merely leaking subs rather than hemorrhaging them.

It looks like there isn't all that much sentient subscribers left. It's like they never really reached one million in real subscribers, and most of the active ones mostly left.

Yet another arrogant YouTube "celebrity" operation that failed to understand that Internet fame is ephemeral. While it always eventually ramps down as the ADD hordes move on to something else, you can always fuck it up in one fell swoop.

Is it really sound logic to assume that of their 14.1 initial subscribers that such a substantial portion are bots? I get that it's an easy jab to make, but I can't see more than maybe a few hundred thousand bots at best (likely brought on gradually during the channel's first years). TheFineBros are shitheads and all, but they're making content that panders to "the Facebook mom" demographic, and that's a LOT of people.

Their target demo are people who subscribe to whatever cutesy shit comes up on their feed without regard for where it came from or who the original creator is (see also SoFloAntonio, et al); these people don't actively seek out new and original shit to watch, they want it spoonfed to them because they're lazy retards. All of us here on the Farms are like-minded company who are very very web savvy, and it's very easy to lose sight of this and assume that people are as competent as you are -- what you need to remember is that we're the minority online. There's a reason why clickbait articles and banner ads with tits in them are profitable, because the general Internet user is a fucking moron.

That's who TheFineBros market to.

As shitty as they are, TheFineBros' "format" works. Not because it's legally theirs (it isn't), but because they had the capital to pursue it to an extreme degree. They had a fucking REACT show on television at one point. Your average Joe has the personality of an NPC in Skyrim; we scoff, laugh, and mock it, but that's what literally appeals to them.
