I looked at that list of PSN games and, every time I saw the tiniest flicker of hope in his list of played titles, he hasn't earned any trophies in the game. It's a constant throughout the whole list. I'm still trying to find a legit 'good' game that he's actually done something with, like complete a tutorial.

Little Big Planet and Sonic Adventure 2 are pretty good games.

But other than that, yeah.

He has Galaga Legions, Tekken 6, Tekken Revolution, Blazblue CSE, Virtua Fighter 5, Rayman. Soul Calbiur V, and he's yet to touch any of them.

How to make Chris buy a PS4.

Step 1: send him a single PS4 game that kind of appeals to his interests.
Step 2: there is no step 2. He'll justify spending $500 or whatever a PS4 costs these days to play a $30 game.
Buy him a Minecraft PS4 download card.

You'd think he'd be all over Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. It's even better because it launched in NA for PS3 on Christian Love Day.

As far as the PC stuff goes, Christian is actually capable of building a computer and getting it to work. He took a class on how to build PCs in college. He just seems to have no knowledge of the quality of the components or that buying the cheapest stuff might not be worth the experience. And although he learned quite a bit about computers while at PVCC, I'm sure he's forgotten around 70% of it by now. I'd be surprised if he knows dick all about CADD these days. He's autistic so little kid games are his thing. Nintendo Wii U is where he belongs.

I can't imagine a scenario where he'd actually be able to properly wire the power button lights into the tiny slots barely even denoted with legible text on the motherboard.

And you can FORGET him paying any attention to the dangers of static electricity, much less the idea of a grounding wire.

Chris has expressed a desire for a PS4 before when he was begging for presents during the run up to Christmas. He posted his desired bundle, but claimed he would "accept" the Destiny one. (how gracious) He'll happily accept one, but I don't think it's all that high on his list of desires right now.
Nintendo seems to be giving him what he wants in terms of vidya right now, and that's fair enough tbh.

One thing worth pointing out is that the PS3 was also his means of communicating back in the glory days, all his videos were made using the PS eye and the free eyecreate software, so that's where a lot of the usage of it came from.
He doesn't want to do his videos anymore, which is a bit of a shame because of the focus on sharing and the streaming capabilities of the PS4 could result in much hilarity.

His posturing back in the day when it came to declaring Playstations superiority was just his typical "my likes are the best likes", but he's not really dedicated enough to drop hundreds of dollars that he doesn't have on something that's not really going to offer him much... not that that's stopped him in the past though.

Chris should stop playing video games and do something productive with his life
like if you agree

EDIT: it looks like everyone wants Chris to stay a shitty person so they can feel better about not having accomplished anything in their lives.
Productivity isn't funny.

I agree Hulkster. That's why in my initial post pondering how much Chris could spend on Steam, I supposed if he ever did do any PC gaming it'd be on a store-bought "gaming" laptop.

Good spots - although, given what we know about Chris, I think it's fair to say those two are happy accidents.

His success in Namco Museum and Midway Arcade was quite surprising.

I'm surprised he didn't dig Hotline Miami. You literally dress up as animals and kill people. Maybe because there wasn't a hedgehog option, idk.

I see your point. I'll amend my statement to Christian "claims" he can build a computer by himself.

This is an ACTUAL VIDEO of Chris building a computer.

Has Chris ever played and enjoyed a game intended for adults? I remember reading on the Cwciki that he owns stuff like Fallout New Vegas but has zero trophies in them.
