Has Chris ever played and enjoyed a game intended for adults? I remember reading on the Cwciki that he owns stuff like Fallout New Vegas but has zero trophies in them.

The recent 'Chris has many good games but doesn't touch them' thing brings to mind, does Chris even know that a big part of the videogaming consumer base are adults now? like, legit full grown people with jobs and responsibilities, that demand games a lot more complicated in themes and situations.

I wonder if he may consider that videogames still are something exclusively for children. That he still plays them at his age doesn't concern him because he's still "Young at heart!" or whatever other rationalization he has.

Anyway just another mystery on the big weird thing that are his 'gaming habits. The thing that baffles me the most still are his Trophies in a CHESS game of all things. Could he even have used a FAQ? Why would he bother?

Does god of war count? He also played a significant portion of Duke Nukem Forever, though. I'd love for people to read into why he did that.

Nah, he doesn't give a shit about their target demographic. He wants to play games all day, therefore he deserves to be able to pay games all day. Where others come in doesn't matter to him.

iirc he played duke nukem forever, for obvious reasons, god of war is practically for kids that want to be edgy, heck all the freaking kids played in the golden age of vidya here, i was busy being weeabo with JRPG to care about it

this is one of the most funny things about him, he buy games only to have it, just imagine what he will do in the summer and winter sales of Steam, where his favorite games (Lego) are at freaking 75% of discount, he would suffer a big case of Steamdoku

I'm surprised he didn't dig Hotline Miami. You literally dress up as animals and kill people. Maybe because there wasn't a hedgehog option, idk.

he like games that hold his hand to do everything and doesnt kill him every 2 seconds, Hotline miami is 2FAST4HIM, i can imagine him having a attack of tardrage only to discover that enemies can see you trought windows and his reflex and patience are very very low, also the game is PC only

i was thinking after all his tardrage about console wars (the humping of the ps3, his hate for the xbox) what he is going to do when he know how pretentious are some of the PC Gamers, i can already see him posting thing in facebook about the PC MASTER RACE, DEATH TO CONSOLES!!!

He owns it on PS3 (it's on the list). It boggles the mind as to what it is doing there though. Maybe it was a PS Plus freebie?

He could buy a second chess game and feed their moves to each other. Then just crank up the difficulty of the one representing his moves to maximum.

Little optimistic to assume that Chris would know how to do that. More like he just happens to be a passable chess player or the game is real easy

I'm genuinely surprised he hasn't done everything in his power to get a PS4.

He seems to have moved on from Playstation to 3DS and Wii U really. His PS3 obsession seemed to mostly be LBP based and it seems he's finally bored of that.

Certainly seems so. He has barely signed in to PSN. I think it makes sense, as others have stated he likes games aimed at a younger demographic and loves incorporating a personal touch into everything (I.E. how so many Wii U and 3ds games allow for Mii's to be playable characters).

The learning curve of a game like Hotline Miami would surely have given him sensory overload. And the game was at one time a free game for PS+ users, which is how I ended up playing it.

Is there no way to see how many hours he sinks into each game ala Steam?

Chris should stop playing video games and do something productive with his life
like if you agree

EDIT: it looks like everyone wants Chris to stay a shitty person so they can feel better about not having accomplished anything in their lives.

I HAVE RECIEVED ALL THE RATINGS ON THIS ONE POST
:alog:

Now you have.

I think the reason why Chris has pretty much ditched Sony for Nintendo is because PS4 isn't focusing on "faggy kid shit" like LBP and the like, and Nintendo has cashed in on the "video game toys" fad with their Amiibo's which is right up Chris's alley since they're combing his two favorite things (toys and vidya)

This true. Thanks for your colorful language, it actually illustrated the point. But it also has to do with brand loyalty. He bought a wii u so that must be the best console. Read the wiki page chris and brand loyalty. It'll fill in the blanks.
