With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Sam tells them to fetch the boxing gloves. TJ is mad about his hats being taken away, apparently. Ben gives TJ boxing gloves and also head gear for safety reasons. Somehow he is wearing both the boxing headgear and that silly spinning hat lol.

Jesus christ, I thought Sam would go easy on TJ since he's way bigger, stronger, and more experienced, but he is legit bodying him, knocked his mouth guard out and knocked him over several times. His mouth is bleeding. Sam eventually calls a stop because he's whooping his ass. To TJ's credit he didn't give up, Sam even acknowledged that he's got big balls. Says no more stupid hats and his name is back to TJ for proving himself

Side note, has anyone notice how much Sam plays around and almost flirts with Trish?

Sam asks TJ if he should bring Taylor up, it's his call. TJ says no, everyone praises him for rejecting the Taylor.

huge W for TJ. I was fully expecting him to quit the moment sam asked him if he wanted to quit, but him saying he wanted more earned some huge respect for me since sam was punching the absolute fuck out of him and only holding back a little.
 
I'm glad Sam went hard on TJ during the sparring. Calling a beef on the fucking Judge himself should be as big a deal as it implies. And good on TJ for not giving up or being a pussy, and on Sam for recognizing his character development and letting him take off the silly hat. Somebody please clip this entire thing for the thread.

Also, whoever said they like how involved Sam is this season is right. Some of Sam's planned MDE sketches are entertaining, but I think where his comedy really shines is when he's fucking with people free-form, without a script. His "Judge" character is one of the the funniest things about the show. He's a natural improviser, and he's able to motivate the fish way better than the rest of the crew.

I agree but I doubt he'll spend MORE time in the tank than he already is just to mitigate Jet's shortcomings
 
For anyone that missed it, When Sam was doing a little comedy stand up bit to the Fish earlier, a Marky TTS made it through that seemed to piss him off enough he asks who is Running TTS and can they fucking turn it off before he stormed down to the Basement. Guess Marky shit really does effect him still.

This reeks of /tv/ bullshit. I was watching it live and people kept spamming the laughing TTS and he got pissed I didn't hear anything about Marky

You can see the Marky posts gets him agitated when he's sitting on the couch, the laughing spam that is what pushes him over the edge and he goes off
