Ego doesn’t have to be expressed in obvious ways like that tweet though. It’s the little things. His inability to accept criticism and his insistence on over involving himself in the show when it isn’t required are actions that stem from a big ego. He believes he’s big dick enough to make the show better, and these attempts fall flat.

Going back to the Frank and Jet twitter call, Frank’s criticisms of Jet were completely valid and reflected how the audience felt about the season one episodes. Jet continuously talked down to him. And that’s Frank, a freeloader who was recognized as one of the better parts of season one and who definitely pulled in a pretty penny for the first season. If he’s willing to talk down to someone who contributed quite a bit to the first season, it’s a good sign he’d be willing to do the same to the fanbase.

To be fair, he has shown improvement since season 2, and hopefully the trend will continue.

I think the only thing that really bothers me about Jet is when he does the wigger shit like "rolex in your face nigga, 3 bands in your face nigga"

A major part of that phone call was the reveal that Jet had hired editors for season 1, including one of Frank's guys, but then fired them so he could pursue his idea of what the edits should be. He attributed the delays and errors in the season 1 edits to "the narrative which I'm so autistically obsessed with" (exact words he used from the Frank Call). It was his idea to originally try to make the episodes 22 minutes long in the hopes to sell the episodes to a TV network or something. The final shot of season 1 was Jet in BR 4 soaking in the glory of his creation. Jet was loved or at least respected by the fishtank community at the end of season 1 and destroyed it by the time the edits were halfway out. He ruined the edits because he believed he was the only one who could do them justice and failed miserably.

This is a bit he stole from Sam. When Sam asks someone “do you want to see a rolex? It’s expensive”, it’s funny. When Jet waves cash in TJ’s face it makes me cringe.

That was my favorite part of this thread in s1 all the reality show fans pointing out how short 22 minutes is for this type of show, especially with how few episodes it was and all the shit they cut. Didn't that call only happen because he completely cut Frank out?

It's because it's obvious Sam is in on the joke while Jet looks like he believes it. Even if he's obviously joking like Sam, he just looks like a wigger who would say it. It's why you need a certain look to pull off absurdity in the modern era or a fanbase that is in on the joke. Jet has neither.

It's hilarious how pathetic this is - not only is he rehashing another Sam "fuck the fans" bit from the end of season 1, but he's doing it in a way which demonstrates that he seethes over any and all criticism, even something as mild as "Producer L". This shows that whatever goodwill was gained from 2.5 did not change his underlying attitudes and no self reflection has been done.

Abi and Claire did a few streams on the fishtank website but Abi purportedly went through a break-up with her boyfriend that resulted in him smashing her computer up so she cannot stream any longer, which is a shame since she was riding a wave of good will post Bitchtank that boosted her viewership a lot. Jacob did his own Fishtank Cell style show for a week called Powtank with Letty helping for production and Claire, Abi and Shadi showed up for it. Abi was in rough shape with a bruise on her temple and hospital bands declaring her a fall risk because she seems like she left for the airport shortly after discharging from the hospital. From what I heard/saw she was quickly irritated and in no shape to be filmed 24/7 and being subject to fishtank style harassment. Abi had her moments of having fun but she would quickly burn down, start insulting people and leave the room. Claire and Shadi were just the same as they always are. Haley has largely disappeared aside from an infrequent tweet here and there but that was expected since she is a paralegal and has a real job and obligations to return to.

Edit: Actually it seems like Abi is going to be streaming again, no clue if the rumor about the computer getting smashed is true, she has different headset from before just glancing at the prior pictures she has on her twitter.

I get the sentiment. There's a lot of useless fucks online that have accomplished nothing and have never been in charge of anything worth a shit, and yet somehow think they are in a position to tell others that they are doing x thing they have never done or attempted to do, wrong.
