With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Luke had a really funny investigation into the grotesquerie from last night. Binx cried in the bathroom for like two hours. Alex has been running nothingburger time filler challenges.
 
It's funny how every time I wrap up work for the day I have 40-60 pages to catch up on, and as I am doing that there are always numerous posts of fishbros complaining about nontent and nothing ever happening.
 
Binx got a spray bottle fishtoy but Jet dumped the whole bottle over her after aggressively spraying her and not stopping. Now Jobe (white shark/robot) is trashing B2 and throwing clothes everywhere.
edit: He just dumped what looked like the contents of Payton's makeup bag in the toilet.

both, imo. bit of confusion because like 8 new people and many of them are nontent, but binx getting her comeuppance and luke chad'ing it is hilarious to me. I REALLY hope they invite him back in the future.

In the new fish i like kevin for being unbothered and star for infectious energy.

Maejok is one of the crew members and the doll is a personification of his avatar I guess? It's cute anyways.
 
Jet just told Jobe to take all the shit out of the toilets because it'd cause plumbing issues. So he's just pulling it out by hand and throwing it across the bathroom

The thing with the fishtank format is that nontent is the pie crust that the filling is contained by. The most legendary content packed days in fishtank history still undoubtedly had like two hours of nontent, usually in one section of the day.

When you're watching live, no matter how good a day is, there's gonna be an hour of nothing and sitting through an hour of dog shit is gonna sour anyone's mood a little. It's hard to maintain perspective until you read the recap or something.

I'm not shitting on the show, it's just a reality of 24/7 Livestreaming. In the moment there are some motherfucking boring ass chunks of time.
 
Have any of these people caught on yet they're basically NPCs and Luke, Binx, Payton, and Burt are the only ones getting any attention?

Yeah and people tend to like to post and talk about things during the nontent times, when there is content going on chances are most of us are watching instead of posting. Live shows like this are bound to have boring chunks but at 4 weeks into the show, the fish shouldn't be having so much fun that's all I'll say, especially Binx and Payton.

He's mostly been seeking out the makeup, although now he's just throwing clothes everywhere. There was a lot of likely very expensive makeup ruined, and the fish are going to be stuck on reality TV unable to do their faces. I guarantee that we're going to get some meltdowns over this - possibly even one of them walking.
