I think that even with a half season on S4 there were enough exciting moments to justify $10. Arye spongebob spergout, piss room, Bam, Rachael meltdowns, and dozens of other moments. $10 gets you a beer at a bar now. I just got back from the coffee shop and spend $13 on a red eye and a breakfast sandwich that will leave my body in the next 30 minutes. The people that watch this show frustrate the shit out of me because:

A.) They've never done anything as involved/difficult as producing a show like this
B.) Spend hours criticizing and critiquing a bunch of retarded wiggers that managed built something new
C.) Are either extremely broke or a crypto whale, which are two awful target audiences

Totally fine to say you don't want something to devolve into a glorified content house, but these threads are so full of whining it is unreal. People have been posting ITT for YEARS and still write posts bragging about how proud they are that they've never given them a dime. Super cool! Maybe you should spend your time watching stuff that you want to support? They didn't finish the prior season because the S1 house had 4 bedrooms, and then they put a mattress in the S2 house basement. They have a lawyer, and have reported his responses to things live on the show before, so if anyone didn't prepare it would be the lawyer. But in truth, it's pretty easy to not be able to foresee getting charged for running an illegal hotel due to having 4 bedrooms, and then creating a new bedroom without a code-mandated fire escape by dropping a mattress in an unfinished basement.

Anyone citing filming permits doesn't know what they're talking about btw. The shutdown had nothing to do with that.

The solution? Fuck it, do it and pretend everything is fine and assure everyone there is a master plan at work while encouraging they buy season passes and stox then end it early and have Sam do a big ol' apology, then ghost everyone for months.

The punishment for breaking the law filming at the house was a something like $200 a day fine. They thought they'd just pay the fine and there was nothing else the local government could do to stop them, or that they wouldn't be extremely pissed off at them for doing it. I don't think you are wrong about the price being good for what it is. I can also say that whenever I have paid for anything FT related I end up feeling at least a bit scammed. I'm fine with that generally, I know what I am getting myself into.
The old $60 per season was egregious, $10 is a good price honestly and it feels fair.

Some of the odd stuff Jet was 'complaining' about were things they themselves offered, like free episodes so he is in no position to complain that his promises were broken.

Jet is just really retarded with PR. I can accept that its some kind of bad joke, but this fucking nigger is making $50000 a month when nothing is on the site. They are doing very well financially and if they can't make this money work they deserve to lose it all.

Bloodgames seemed pretty costly just because it was outside and they had a lot more people on set. Not to mention the costume design and all the airsoft guns they had to get as well. Granted it only ran for 2 weeks vs the normal 6. It was a technical and logistical miracle that 2.5 lasted as long as it did.

I think they thought that flipping the house would have been a financial boon and extra revenue stream before that was proven to fail. Buying new properties after S1 kind of points in that direction. Also the insane prizes they put the S2 house at after the renovations.
