With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

two of the three big challenges are totally fucked and going to look like shit on the edit because they relied on screens and the cam's white balance was fucked too. keyboard and jeopardy.
half the humor of the keyboard challenge was that the shit they were typing was humiliating shit clowning on them too, but none of it was meaningfully captured because the screens looked fried.
point total in jeopardy was tiny too, mints obviously vibe coded all this shit because it all had the sort of blobby interfaces that claude likes to make.

yeah true but the point i was trying to make is that i don't really care about the twins as contestants, i don't think they're based or cute or whatever- i just like them marginally more than JDrake for being funny autists on a show made for funny autists.
(i actually liked landon pre-crashout and liked bashir after landon wrecked himself)

It was rigged as hell, the part that sucks is they could've done SOMETHING to not make it the given win for jdrake. I really think they should've just let them choose a champion in their place knowing the level of spaz the twins were. Then we run into the problem of them tard raging at their champion if they lose though.
I think if it was bliccy and Laura he would've gotten wooped lol.

I love male fishtank fans clutching their pearls over OMG LADY TWINS SAFETY. I have interacted with male fishtank fans and theyre the creepiest people i have ever met. Not ALL of them, some are very cool dudes but a lot of them need to be on a sex offender list or something. As if they really care about young women’s safety lol I am glad the twins got 20 k, they deserved it too.

Good season. Really don't understand why people are mad at Drake for winning. It's a competition. All or nothing.

Bi/ongo even said "look how much money we made for you" during one of them so either one or both of them expected to coast by for an easy win so they kind of deserve to be knocked down a peg.

A lot of them are Aryeh tier, even some of the posting in this thread had me looking sideways. I do wonder about the correlation of being employed/type of employment relating to which fish someone supports, or their hobbies and interests. Every season there's fan takes way out in fantasy land I assume directly correlate to stuff like that. The art challenge in The Fishbowl is a pretty good encapsulation of this, actually.

I remember in season 1 where they had the T-shirt challenge, people who were buying Josie’s shirt and posting about it on X were exactly the type of people you would expect
