With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Ok I thought so about the crew, the show does have a lawyer or some form of counsel that wrote their contracts so good chance they told Sam to avoid the P word. I agree I was watching B4, Letty & Dam were going hard calling him a pedo a bunch of times. I think Sylvia did also.

They were all drinking and it was a few hours after, Jet should've stepped in and said to avoid calling him a pedo because they haven't seen evidence of that directly. Certainly a creepy guy who liked dressing as a woman too much and took Sylvia's fishnet leggings, they can go hard on Simmons for that instead of calling him a pedo 20 times
 
:optimistic: me, but I'm hoping if this somehow succeeds enough for season 2 to happen, that they take lessons from their mishandling of all of this, and next time it'll be a tighter experience with a clearer understanding of what it's trying to be

Last night sucked but I can't really be mad, since this is genuinely experimental entertainment and it's already taken over my life for a week
 
I am wondering why everyone is so quick to say the show is over what's even the point and so on when it was supposed to be over after the swatting and it only got more insane after that. Just let it go for a bit before doomposting about it.
 
Tbh I hope Sam keeps Jon around in his little gang of misfits. I think he's a good fit for the other shenanigans that Sam pulls online.

They did background checks, Sam said in one of their YouTube streams that the lawyers said no rapists and felons, something along those lines. Otherwise Andy Dick (and his felony sexual assault charge) would've been in the house

He did. normal ones and probably autistic ones. Without the autistic background check we wouldn't have these train wreck weirdos, they'd all be Mauro.

Just watched most of the Simmons Frank Hassle interview. Devils advocate summary for those interested: there’s plausible deniability in regard to the book. His bad English, and the book often says do not do these things (eg if you have to fuck them, don’t rape, wow so inspired) is workable. Though it’s still weird how often sexual experiences are brought up when counsellors should never fuck campers even if they’re the same age, he’s like if you gotta do it make sure they’re not kids and it’s not rape. The IG stuff is the exact kind of thing I’ve seen autistic pedos post in the past. So idk. But there is wiggle room. I feel kinda bad for him. But he definitely had to go

Someone made mention before about Lettie coming up the stairs with a big smile on her face after spotting a hungover Jon. I'll also add she immediately started talking to Vance about Jon leaving because of the state he's in.

You're right. It's bounced back before and probably will again.

Though to me it's pretty much over as a regular thing to pay attention to - I've not much interest in a three way show between Jet's pet, Sam's pet, and stimmy waifu.
