(Almost) all of them knew Sam, and 2 are plants aka paid actors. Not to mention how Jet and Sam bonded with them in only a couple of days. It's way different than how they presented it in the trailer.

they're there of their own free will, and maybe not being given an allowance like that after a real stressful situation would make them say 'fuck it this isnt worth it at all'.

at the end of the day they're people after all. people have limits, ways of reacting to things. phones are a source of comfort

I don't actually watch the show other than the odd clip in thread, and probably never will. I watch you lot enjoying it, theorising about it, getting invested and involved in it - and anything that can bring this much joy to a bunch of usually cynical assholes is worth keeping.

It's crazy reading this because originally I was under the impression the entire point of this was to make them uncomfortable and stressed.
This entire project ended up just being "Big Brother but more filters and less production quality"

Only Damiel is confirmed to know Sam. Sylvia and Vance were confirmed as knowing who Sam was, and Josie is confirmed of at least knowing who Jet is. Jon researched Sam after applying and it seems reasonable that Letty would know who Sam is prior to applying. Provide evidence that there are 2 confirmed plants and that they all knew Sam prior to applying, or stop posting your retarded schizo theories

Pretty big difference between "uncomfortable and stressed" and "not allowed to contact family after a very public swatting".

yeah but youve gotta remember. they are not prisoners. they can leave if they want. the point is to make them not wanna leave. boil the frog. it's one thing to be spammed with tts when youre trying to sleep. it's another to have cops show up.
 
The way Jon is asking all his fans to get Tate to notice him even after just being swatted is honestly so cute. Slowly becoming a Jonchad
 
because of the swattings. i can imagine people freaking out and threatening to leave or outright leaving if they werent allowed to contact family members and let them know whats going on. it still really sucks this happed, its gonna fuck with the whole dynamic of the show if they see all the shit people are saying about them. they could also potentially find other details about the show they didnt know before.
 
This has been such a genuinely disheartening turn of events. I blame Sam and Jet for most of whats happened because they did a terrible job at pre-production testing and have continuously fucked this up. It feels like at least another month was needed to ensure the tech was working and the house should have been better prepped with more interesting things for the fish to observe and interact with. Also Swatters can go get executed in desert though; actual scum of the earth they are. No one likes the fun police especially when they involve the real police.

However I more just feel bad for the Fish. Maybe I'm soft but after watching them hangout and talk, the appeal of fucking with a bunch of mild mannered weirdos kind of lost its fun, especially since some of the funniest bits of the show have been when they were left to organically interact. None of them feel weird or bad enough now for me to find cathartic joy in watching them squirm and get upset by TTS and stuff. I would much rather watch them attempt to collaborate on more creative projects like the comedy sketch and see their banter and jokes evolve rather than them sitting around miserably listening to TTS demanding they strip or accusing them of crimes. I hope the swatting hasn't shaken the group up too much and they can keep having fun for however long this lasts.

This idea needed another 6 months of planning, easily. COMPLETELY fumbled execution of a solid idea. Instead, Sammy saw big, green dollar signs rolling around in his head and rolled this out hoping for the best. This should have not started until after WP2 wrapped production.

I feel like a Total Drama Island but run by Sam and crew would've been a way smarter idea, just 30 MDE fans camping while Sam drill sergeants them and makes them do fear factor shit until one is left
 
What a fucking rollercoaster of emotion. If I have to see one more retard claim it was the evil doxers at Kiwifarms who did this I'm gonna blow a gasket lmao. Glad all the fish are ok. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed this show till the fear of it ending early became realistic due to the discord trannies doxing it. That picture with all of them together is kino as fuck. Here's to hoping none of them are shaken too bad and that none of them drop it.
