With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Unless you're a complete degenerate like Ralph or a homeless druggy, being jumped will fuck you up even if it's not to the point of broken legs. When i lived in a worse part of town you'd see people who got fucked up from it time to time, and even if it's something that doesn't hinder their day to day, it looks grizzly with the fucked up eye swelling and shit.

I can imagine Jon was a soft guy before who was a Forest Gump type of guy. So getting his shit kicked in randomly probably fucked his brain.

I believe he's had the shit kicked out of him before, and I believe people probably abused his retardedness for their own gain.

But, this parasocial father issue shit he has is really going to fuck him forever if he doesn't grow out of it.

Make better choices Jon, don't just try to follow someone elses illusion of success.

Jon was the last one to arrive at the house and there were only 7 beds so he slept on the couch. He said he would remain sleeping on the couch because he knew if he ever got a bed they would just take it away from him.
 
I swear to god mauro is awake for like 3 hours a day.
Every time I tune in he's either asleep with the pillow over his face looking like a dead body or going to bed.

After hearing that, I'm guessing he was a humble retard that was nice to people, and then after being fucked up he latched onto Tate to regain some sense of self and security. Probably also why he looks up to Sam so much, he wants to avoid what happened at all costs.
 
Not sure what kind of advice Sylvia could give Jon. How to wallow in mud? The best way to eat slop from a feed trough?

The psychological aspect of someone getting the shit beat out of them is often the worst part, cause for a dude it makes you feel weak and useless, even if you were outnumbered or taken by surprise. Probably made him feel like a bitch, even though there was nothing he could have done to prevent it, which explains why he's so eager to prove his masculinity.
 
What the fuck is it with Letty and having to observe gayness in the house, every fucking time Jon and Simmons are having a no-homo homo moment she magically appears to watch
 
I started following along yesterday, and I had a revelation after catching up on everything and following them a bit.

Jon and Josie stand out, I think, because their brands of autism make them act like literal children. Josie is easily entertained and finds joy in simple small things, while Jon is dumb and can lash out but is ultimately well-intentioned and kindhearted under his retardation. They're both really endearing that way.
 
A retard changing completely and starting to hate jews after being jumped by nogs? Where have I heard that before?
