A lot of what happens on fishtank only makes sense if you're invested in it. My poor husband keeps hearing about it from me and one of his friends and he just doesn't get why we find it interesting, because a lot of it sounds very mundane unless you "know" the characters and feel invested in them.

A reality show that's been condensed and edited into a more cohesive storyline is a lot easier to summarize than a 24/7 stream where there's a ton of lore. I'm not sure the best way to summarize it for people who aren't watching.

For that reason I think it makes the fandom feel quite cozy.

This is also my poor husbands experience as well. I was trying to explain the battle royale last night and he kinda just stared at me.

Part of me is hoping for decent quality hotdogs, the other part of me is hoping for the cheapest, shittiest ones that have no crunch and are like eating meat mush.
@No Face I've yet to learn how to add in quotes after editing so I'll just reply here: Can't tell what she's saying but the left looks like her (note the pants shorts things) and the right looks like Jon because of facial hair and lack of ever wearing a fucking shirt.

During the "cage" challenge, one specific Jon-supporting whale sent dozens of TTS (50-100 or so) at $50 a pop. He obviously did not have 100 separate good TTS ideas, so he wound up spamming letters a lot, especially J. It got so ingrained among the listeners that many other people sending TTS now use JJJJJ to fill out any remaining characters they have.

TTS gives you 80 characters and currently costs $25 to send. There's a button that reads it back to you as a preview so you can see what the cadence is. Sometimes you need to fool around with it to get it to sound natural. ("Vancemaxxing" will probably get spelled out, but "Vance max sing" might sound right, for example.)

Also, Jon became intrigued at the mysterious buyer who could afford to drop thousands of dollars on this bullshit and started pleading for the TTSer to contact him about business opportunities.

Someone really could get clout off of doing sort of a fishtank digest once a day or so. Might take some serious time to get up to speed at this point, but there is a real drought of content about it. Tons of content will be made once it's over and it will be dry and sort of shitty churned out trash like that faggot turkey tom does. Getting someone's experience as it happens would be pretty great.

Jon went into room 2 briefly, asked people to share what he's about to say. He said he misses and loves his girl and he thinks about her everyday, and he can't wait to see her again. He also said he misses his family and loves them too.

I still doubt the girlfriend existence. I feel like if she does exist, she's either someone he's never met in person before (a catfish or Discord troon), or she must be even more autistic than he is.
