With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

They really should fuck with Damiel more. He’s a douchebag who thinks he’s way cooler than he is. There’s comic potential in him getting taken down a peg and revealing he can’t take what he dishes out.

The crew probably knows this - when they hang out, he’d be the guy for whom nothing is sacred when breaking balls but gets pissy and sensitive the moment it’s turned on him (“That’s seriously not fucking funny guys, OK? I told you not to bring up my gay pictures!”). It would also make the plant dynamic more interesting: What if we make this guy a plant so he thinks he’s the favorite, but then treat him like shit anyway?
 
Idk how to feel about Jon being aware of him making the most content and money for the show...it really takes me out.

Also Damiel flat out lying to Jon about why he was mean to him and Jon eating it up lmfao.

The more I have watched, the more I think some of Jon's lies are actual jokes that didn't land well and people just assume he's being serious. Other times I think Jon lies not out of malice but out of habit. He was bullied growing up and it sounds like he doesn't have many friends. Lots of kids lie to sound cooler than they are, but eventually grow out of it. Jon clearly didn't.

Either way, his lies are comically bad so I can't get mad at him.
 
Ok some interesting strategy coming from the three guy's conversation in room one. Dam is proposing that he and Jon pretend to not like Vance and Vance should do the same to them. That will stir up drama and make the girls uncomfortable. Jon says he's good at breaking people mentally.

Vance doesn't like the idea that much but is going to go with it. They all agree that the house needs more chaos.

That's where you're wrong. Jon said "I'm great a breaking people mentally". Now most people will read this and take it as Jon just stating a fact without a hint of irony, but I know better. It was clearly a dig at Damiel. Jon's reminding Damiel about the time he broke Damiel mentally enough to have him leave the house earlier. Jon is asserting his dominance over these two beta males.

On a more serious note, given Jon's history of blabbing, he will probably ruin whatever plan Vance and Damiel are trying to pull over him once he sees everyone in the house is no longer getting along. He will then hug it out and have a Bible session to repair relations.
 
Jon, whispering to Vance & Damiel, has divulged that he's done mushrooms twice. One of those times he was dosed.

Lettie's not wrong that Jon can get a little cocky sometimes. At the moment he has the audience and the housemates eating out of the palm of his hand so I'm not surprised it's coming out again.

I have a feeling something will happen again to "reset" him, then he'll pop back up again a little more humble and the pattern will repeat again. I doubt he's used to having such a long winning streak irl and it's definitely going to his head a little.

I wonder what will happen if he finds out Vance was scheming against him. I'm not sure he knows.
 
I know what Frank Hassle should do. Frank should box Jon with either Daniel or Sylvia being the ring girl. If Jon wins he gets fishbucks, if Frank wins he gets the bible.
