They're living in the basement. It was mentioned before they were supposedly supposed to have a portapotty for crew use but it didn't show up in time so they were using all the other bathrooms.
But it's prob just Jet fucking with them. Water flooding from a backed up drain wouldn't cause "show over", it would cause "oh fuck there's a turd floating down the hallway".

You're overthinking it. Sam is GOD in this house, it doesnt matter if Jon breaks character to workout with Sam. Sam wants to workout with Jon because he has a soft spot for him, and enjoys feeling like a mentor/big brother to this retarded kid with a heart of gold. Sam also knows Jon is carrying the show at this point and the workout bonding time functions as a mental health buffer for Jon, meaning he wont quit when Sam/crew sets the next crazy unhinged challenge.
