With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I honestly cannot get a good read on Jon or Letty's intentions at this point due to how many layers and alliances have been established. For all I know everyone is lying. But if I had to guess it seems Like Letty is trying to get somebody on her side, especially after the energy drink and the chilly incident. She believes it's her vs the world. Jon, being confronted with his possible alliance, is now trying to play all sides, but he might go behind Letty's back and tell Vance and Damiel about their discussion. We have to wait and see.

TL;DR on this conversation: Violetta was trying to rekindle her friendship with Jon after things started getting weird between them when she was putting the moves on him in the living room two nights ago, she was talking about how they should keep being friends and Jon was being aloof and dismissive, giving curt responses after everything she said and not giving her any mind.

Turns out when he left and went upstairs that night he told Vance everything Violetta confided in him, and now Vance has the upper hand seeing as every other fish is on his side and he knows for sure what she's up to. Vance tells us this in one of his TTS back-and-forths:

In a stroke of luck or whatever it is, Jon yells out Vance's name right as he's done telling us this. Vance says "What?!" and Jon mumbles something. Vance leaves and eventually comes back.

"Literally, like... I feel like Jon trusts me. He literally told me all of her secrets... and I do trust him, so I don't think she's gonna ride him to the top. I don't think she's gonna have any success in that. Over me, at least."

I've been glued to fishtank all afternoon since the disability challenge started

I missed the part where Vance enters B4, but I did get him leaving after Josie came back and continued to take the eyes out of the bear.

She said something like "who was that" and a few TTS came in to tell her it was Vance.
Other Josie highlights include
  • promising to scalp the bear when she gets her vision back
  • correctly identifying each of her plushies
  • putting the burger in her drawer for later (and she later shares it with Damiel)
  • samurai posing with the cane and hitting the ceiling fan
  • beating up a bear as an example of what will happen to those who don't buy her shirts
  • no reaction to Vance's screaming from B1

I felt this shot of Letty really captures the feel of the house right now

EDIT: One more highlight was that Jon hobbled in to B4 and asked Josie what she was doing. "Just taking the eyes out". Then Jon asks if she needs help with that.

Maybe i'm being a knit picking asshole, but what sense does it make to take this asshole's bed when he's just gonna flop on another one and sleep. Sharks are fucking faggots for allowing this. legit makes me mad he's pull this shit twice now. Josie should lose hers as well for harboring this faggotry.
 
Jon is in Bedroom 2 and just asked for someone who is "good at the bible" to contact him on Instagram, he considers his "knowledge level" as "basic" and would "gladly appreciate" it if someone helped him. He says he's "been trying every single day." The timer goes off, he starts doing push-ups.
 
Jon just went into bedroom 2, shut the door, and had a brief monologue. He said he's not good at reading and writing, and wishes he could learn more so he could study the Bible. He asked anyone who has a deep knowledge of the Bible to contact him so he could learn from them.

Edit: @Aristides beat me to it. Really hits me in the feels knowing something as simple as literacy shouldn't be taken for granted. Poor guy just wants to be able to read and understand his bible, and has to rely on others reading to him in order to take in the information at a realistic pace. Jon wins me over a little more every day.
