Nobody liked Letty besides the weird niggas that just lust after anything with a Vagina and people with a scat fetish(don't know if there's a fetish for instigative cunts but they we're among the OG Letty lovers because Damn bruh dem crazy bitches have mad pussy skills and can stroke a mean cock, I can fix her). Her popularity now with a wider audience was gained when the staff decided to start picking on her which garnered her underdog status which then attracted all the people with a victimhood fetish.
Pledit: It seems the boost in support for Letty came in shortly after the Hog left. She used to be the Pinata for the wigger crew since her squealing was very funny and the only other person left who reacted positively (for the show) to the teasing and messing around with was Letty. Since Letty is now the only one getting messed with now enter the "sympathetic" and "empathetic" crowd.

Some more analysis, I think while I'm watching there's always stuff going on so it's easy to feel like it's all chaos and things are happening in a whimsical, random fashion, but after decompiling all the events the planned structure of yesterday and today seems more obvious.
During the slavery challenge, production hoped for two bombs to go off, one on each contestant, to see how they would cope with it as a distraction.
Prior to the slavery challenge, Ben showed Letty that the Bible is in the washing machine and walked off. Jon had won the prior challenge by calling her the "grossest thing" in the house on top of every other offense he had made up until this point, so production thought Letty would hit the button without reservation. Instead she dithered and goes upstairs, and Ben had to practically beg her to do it even though she said she feels bad.
Within ten minutes of the start of the challenge a TTS asks Jon to double-check the washer to see that the minced pieces he overlooked before are actually his Bible. Jon loses it, predictably - but barring the time Letty is pulled aside and made to apologize to Jon for her role, SHE DOES NOT STOP CLEANING. Jon throws the chunks of Bible at her, all supervisors leave the room, she finds out he almost ripped her passport, Chris starts saying that ripping a passport is justifiable, all these dumbass things happen and she just keeps cleaning and doesn't leave the kitchen. Jet arrives at one point when everyone else has left the room and literally congratulates her and shakes her hand, then shouts "FISHTANK!!!"
On the flipside. I summarized it in my prior post but production spent literal minutes whipping up a scam that would distract Vance. He's told that his girlfriend is trying to stop the show, does his piece to the her to the camera, hides in his room in the dark until Jon checks on him, waffles from B3 to B4 and back again for 10 minutes, comes downstairs looking shellshocked and flees upstairs again, on and on and on.
Chris' vote didn't really matter to production at the end of the challenge as much as the actual question - did Vance or Letty keep the bit going despite the distraction? Letty has had so much practice with going to her happy place after 38 days in the tank they probably could have told her that Jon had successfully ripped the passport and that she would have to go straight to a Canadian embassy in the morning and she still would have kept cleaning. Vance however has maybe been harmed by a lack of attention - when Caminos distracted him during the "schizo bit" and then called him out for dropping the act, I guess that's a microcosm of something that he may have failed to learn.

Just caught up. My thoughts on last night's shenanigans:
1. Okay did Jon legit get a boner wrestling fatty? It sure looked like one. That whole wrestling thing was super gay looking. It was funny when Josie almost choked Jon out though.
2. The massage and arm pit shaving thing felt really perverse. I know I'm a wimp, but I get uncomfortable when this show does anything sexual with the fish, there's something about that boundary that feels wrong to cross. I feel especially bad for Letty because the show has been trying to get her to massage Chris for days when she very obviously does not want to. No one wants to touch that fat disgusting beast, especially after he just got done playing with literal shit in the previous challenge. At least Letty wasn't alone, Vance also had to touch fatty.
3. Freaking LOL'd at Jon attempting to rip up Letty's passport. I have been disliking Jon ever since he came back, but this won me back over. This is when Jon is at his best, when he's causing mass chaos for everyone, not just picking on one person. It was funny to see everyone trying to stop him from committing a crime, and Sam was angry for real. Sam truly believed he could control Jon, but he was proven wrong yet again. Sam doesn't seem to get that you can't control legitimate autism meltdowns. That's why I think Fatty should go after he nearly beat Letty the other night. Autism sperg outs are unpredictable.
4. Vance is really pathetic. Him believing Sam and getting worried about his gf trying to break up with him shows how stupid he is. How can he believe a word out of Sam's mouth after he has already been proven to lie so much? How is it that Letty seems to be the only one who has figured out a long time ago that you can't trust a damn thing the producers say? Though I admit seeing Vance look so depressed does make me feel kind of bad for him. Vance is simply too nice. He really shouldn't be on this show.

An interesting thought. It was obvious that Damiel was a plant, leaving for a few days and coming back and just being an all around worthless chigger.
With the amount of shit Letty has put up with, I could see production having guaranteed her a payout regardless of whether she wins or loses. It would explain why she seems so unphased by most of the disgusting shit done to her, she knows she's getting something in the end anyway.
Or maybe I'm as retarded as the people on this show.

She also brought up the question about Vance using 4chan to develop his music tastes. There was a popular "fancam" on fishtank twitter of Vance which used the song Frontier Psychiatrist, and the day after it took off she asked him if he had ever heard the song.
I don't think the reason is that she is the plant, I think they are giving her topics in the basement. Given everything that has happened I doubt she is any sort of plant, just that she is often given specific topics to introduce to the house in order to fuck with the other contestants. Like with the Bible, they probably tell her things about other fish and then go "do you think you want to tell them about that though? Up to you."
Anyway I'll add some clips in chronological order to add to the thread. My favorite parts are when someone asks Vance to do a let's go just after he thinks his GF is in hot water online and he goes "....leeet's... gooo.." and when Jon sees Vance having a Mental Breakdown and assumes it's because of Letty.

I have a hard time believing Letty has been a plant from the beginning but I've been wondering if she was offered a payout that time she spoke to Sam privately after she almost left.
Betty seems like she has a bit of a screw loose, I hope she spills more dirt or weird theories. She seems really butthurt that Sam didn't actually prefer her to Letty. I do wonder what his problem with her was though, she makes it sound like he was displeased with everything she did, not just showing tits, and I wonder why, because I thought she did a great job in her role.

I don't think Letty has been a plant since day one, but I could see Sam & Co. having her replace Damiel as a plant after the port-o-potty incident and his (second) elimination. Kind of a "we'll pay to replace all your shit and then some, but you can't choose to leave no matter how bad things get".
