With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Alex Lucarini is our man, no idea who he is but he really should do recuts of 1-5. Now if Jet owned up to the criticism in a more public manner that would be ideal but at least its something.
 
Glad to see the criticism has been received, looking forward to more. Jet's a good guy, his problem is that he thinks if he apes Sam's demeanor it will make him look cool, forgetting that he's a skinny fat meme rapper and not a 6'5'' self-destructive genius.
 
There's a Twitter Space happening right now with Jet, Letty and Frank. Frank is pissed about how he was represented on the show. He keeps calling Jet a faggot and exposing insider stuff. Hopefully someone is archiving this.

Frank is not a Fishtank fan. Sylvia and Letty call in and also say they don't like the edits. Jet says he doesn't give a fuck and their opinion doesn't matter lol.

I've been downloading it since I tuned in and will upload what I have later on. It's worth a listen.

LETS GO FRANK SPEAKS THE TRUTH TO POWER
 
Just finished episode 6 and wow, it's easily the best so far. Jet bringing in new editors helped significantly. Some observations:
  • Chris's freakout from Frank's first night there where he screamed at Sylvia and has what was basically a mental breakdown about sexual assault was not included. I get why it was excluded it was extremely uncomfortable even watching it through a shitty security camera live was really hard.
  • The Letty interrogation scene was incredible
  • Frank and Sylvia's "flirt fight" over her mattress was not included I don't know why. It's one of the standout moments from the show
  • Frank's schoolyard bully shtick wears thin very quickly. Dude is grating after the first few clips.
  • Josie got a few great standout moments which was cool
  • Letty not liking Simon PISSES ME OFFFFFFF
 
Finished watching the extras and I feel confident again in saying Chris saved the second half of Fishtank. I think Frank's appearance which was hugely hyped up during the airing was underwhelming. Like it was fine he did stir up shit in the house but his shtick is very simple. Throw things off of tables and fuck with people. Chris did better because he is genuine.
