With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Jon and Roger Stone podcast, which is currently unlisted right now.
Stone compared himself to Machiavelli. Jon says he did all his research on Stone's book on Amazon and says it must be good because it has a lot of 5 star ratings.

Why does anyone even bother with shows like 60 Minutes or Dateline, just replace them with Jon doing "journalism."

Is there a word for retard strength but for... whatever Jon is doing? I want to say failing upwards but that doesn't fit because he's not really failing. I just get the feeling he's gonna be in some kind situation similar to Fuentes meeting Kanye in the future, like something that makes no sense at all.

As I said before, balancing for future success/resume builders compared to simply their present income, Vance and Sylvia are doing the best compared to the others.

Regrettably didn't record this but I can describe it from memory - Jon went live on IG, all the people at Justin Whang's party are watching Episode 9 right now.
He went live just before they threw the bible at Letty, Whang went "you got her good!" and they all laughed at that part.

Someone asked "wait, who won this in the end?" And Jon went "the indian one" Chris saying "Letty wot deed yew dooooo" also made everyone laugh.

The TTS that goes off saying "cry like andrew tate you little pussy" set off the room laughing, Jon noticeably did not laugh. When it cut to Jon sitting on the stairs with Mariachi blaring over his bright red face, Justin Whang burst out laughing hard. Jon quickly pointed the camera at his feet, struggled with IG for a moment, and turned the stream off.

Jon's inflated ego really does make him too fragile a person for the fishtank. His autism combined with his unwarranted self importance is a terrible mix with a show (terrible for him not for us) that is about fucking with and mocking the contestants. If you can't laugh at yourself you will not make it on the show.

I can see issues arising from some of these due to being really fucking stupid or fucked up. Trying to force contestants to smoke cigarettes could probably lead to legal troubles and being able to give/take fishbucks would reduce their significance, why bother competing for them if you know that they'll be taken away so the money isn't guaranteed?

If real, then they will hopefully be removed due to being stupid/dangerous.

but on a more serious note, the contestants names, house, and other shit have been leaked already. TIME TO SWEEP IT UP JET
 
Thinking about how season 2 is starting tomorrow and I really couldn't care less. I was really interested in season 1 from the minute it was announced and it was a lot of fun but they're going to have to make season 2 very entertaining before I'll watch it. Vance and Josie were boring as shit the first time and they're not going to be any less boring this season. I also am tired of this thread which has just turned into a bunch of retards whining about Jet Neptune like it hasn't already been said a million times. Seems like it's mostly just people standing in line to hate on the show and nobody is excited for it, which is pretty understandable at this point. Sam needs to get some hype going quick.

But also, seriously, you all need to remember that this is an independent production with a very low budget thrown together by a bunch of oxycontin addicts. It's not going to look like a Hollywood production.
