I mean everyone should know what they have gotten into. The fact one of them doesn’t is the more shocking information.

This was clearly done to prime everyone for more hijinks and at the same time confirms to us, the audience, that unlike last season there will not be a physical plant like Damiel. Now you will have all the “plants” attempting to collect information and waiting for orders from the higher ups that will never come, while also trying to hide that they are the plant from the others, and maybe even JC going crazy as she tries to figure out who the “plant” is. I wasn’t watching but I’m guessing they told her there was one?

Doing this early will allow the players to get into playing the game quicker and maybe be more active in terms of sabotage and pulling one over on each other. Last season they were all just hanging out at first and had no idea how to play one of these games since zoomers don’t typically watch big brother or survivor.

I want more baby dropping sabotage.

Yesterday during the magic ritual Sam alluded to a 45 minute phone call to a lawyer. So they might be too scared to have her out of basement while she's in her rambo phase. They have already taken away the knives.

Some of the basement screaming did sound like it could have been a repeat so who knows.

Cole and now TJ were taken by Ben into the right basement room that isn't the production area briefly. No clue what that is about.

They need to get these fuckers on a normal sleep schedule. I'm in the same timezone where the show is, I stayed up to 1 or 2 am watching then turned it off because I thought there was NO WAY anything interesting was going to happen and assumed the fish would go to bed soon but NOPE, all of the best stuff happens at 3-4 am. Not sure how to feel about everyone being sam hyde fans, this makes me wonder if some of the contestants reactions to hearing stuff about jews or the word faggot, nigger, etc were them just trying to cover their asses or what.

Okay Summer is actually just crazy batshit insane. It's not a bit. From what i've read in the thread about the shinji stuff, she's definitely 100% BPD. There's no question about it.

The ads they put up wouldn't specify it's fishtank obviously but they did put up an ad on twitter asking for applications because they were apparently having trouble finding people. It might be possible all but JC were twitter applicants.
 
I figured we all knew that they all knew before going on the show. I don't understand how:

a) them seeing the previous season changes much of what we've already established in the thread.

b) This is supposed to be a huge reveal

c) this aspect is different from every reality and game show that's come out in existence

If anything the biggest surprise is that JC truly is operating in the dark here. Personally, they being random fans from around the country doesn't change much. It was the same thing last season bar a few contestants.
 
Is no one doing LOTAN style daily videos this season? Some of this shit is so hard to follow because a lot of interesting stuff seems to be happening rapid fire and too many of the clip channels are just pushing out contextless less unedited clips. It’d be nice if someone could pick up on summaries rather than needing to dig through this thread and /tv/

LOTAN was shit and if you relied on him last season you should know he got everything wrong almost every episode. AB on youtube is currently making great recaps every day.

^This^ I went to bed after they got done playing the body body game, thinking everything would settle down and the fish would go to bed. I just woke and found out the shit hit the fan. JC was outed, Summer had more mental break downs and cuddled with Shinji, Brain and Trish are sleeping in the closet now lol, and all the fish are fans of the show.
 
NGL haven't been able to keep up like season one due to work and the holiday but from what I've seen shinji is my boy

They're going in with the expectation of what exactly Fishtank is and they believe they're sort of "in" with the crew or something like that. They were all playing a character of sorts with all of this in mind and a lot of jokes were being made where each of them independently felt excluded as "I'm not like those other contestants."

What changes now is what kind of challenges do you put people through who signed up expecting to be fucked with and think they can hack what went on in season 1? So it has to be amped up in a hurry but I don't think they were ready for that, on top of dealing with summer.

Watching the other clip back it makes clear what Jet whippet brain is failing to communicate to the audience. Yes, 9/10 of them know about MDE/Fishtank, but they're not "plants" in the way Damiel were. Hell, they tried to give Brian basic instructions, and he immediately blew it. Because Jet didn't explain any of this right you have people thinking every one but JC is scripted. When in reality the only thing that's "changed" is we now know that most of them know.

I think the big problem with the show is there isn't enough defined for mind games. I was hoping with enough time there would be some goal they work towards. Even things like voting each other off or voting for immunity. The show needs to be gameified more. Especially with everyone knowing what game they are part of.

Now it's getting interesting. Summer being a unhinged crazy cunt changed the tone of the house pretty quick. Now the crew has no reasons to hold back, and it's been given a very good reason to do so. Knowing about S1 is one thing, but I'm sure a lot of people are big fans of MDE after this reveal. I'm looking forward to the hellhouse and the fish will have a very shit Christmas this year. :story:
