With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Because mental illness of her kind doesn't work logically. I can believe that Summer watched S1 and thought she could handle it. I can just picture her during her sane moments thinking she could be like Letty; bullied but she can make it through and win, or at least become a fan favorite if she didn't win 1st place. Letty's character growth was inspiring, and Summer also said before that she wanted to be on this show to prove to herself that she isn't weak. Everyone who joins probably thinks they can tough it out, only for reality to hit them hard. They're stuck in a small space with strangers, some legit crazy, and they are cut off from all the basic comforts in life that they've come to rely on.

They can't call or text friends, they can't hop on the internet and scroll mindlessly. They can't get in their car and go somewhere, and they can't even simply relax by themselves. They're stuck in a small house with worsening conditions and they're forced to hear TTS say things that hit too close to home. Even if the messages don't bother you, it still gets annoying to hear gross SFX and JJJJJ over and over again. And remember, you have to put up with this for weeks.

This would be tough for anyone, but even worse for someone who's clearly mentally gone like Summer. When she's having legit manic episodes, logic goes out the window. Eventually she will come down and realize her fears are over blown, but this is short lived until the next thing stresses her out and triggers another manic episode.

It doesn't help her mental state that her worries about annoying everyone else end up being true. She seems aware at times that her breakdowns annoy people, which makes her more stressed out and paranoid that people are talking about her. She's right that people are talking about her, but only because they're worried, not because they hate her. She's basically creating her own cycle of hell.

I don't know what Summer needs, but being on Fish Tank clearly isn't it.
 
i seem to recall jet or his fellow wiggers talking about this season having the more important segments go on during normie wagie friendly hours. guess that is out the window
 
Looked at Summer's Xitter and she only got about 700 new followers (one of whom is Letty!). She'll probably be able to just make a clean break and move on. Someone on here who claimed to know her said she was manic when she signed up a few pages back.

I cannot tell if Sam's mad or doing a bit or both. I can tell you that the problems are entirely on the production side right now and have nothing to do with the cast or the chat.

I think it's some white-label local gas station drink. I can't find anything about it online. Most search results are for some boiling tap water system and the karate session.

If someone is actually going to be eliminated today then it is going to be Brian. It looks like Brian is all show no go. Cole seems far more athletically gifted than Brian. Cole said, "I can go all day Brian." Brian mutters, "I know..."

Sam is making them do the cinnamon squats. Brian and cole both start choking and gagging on the powdered cinnamon.

and i felt an autistic need to draw what i think jimmy was talking about. Cole has a slight advantage b/c brians arms go ovewr and make his weight more in-line, while cole's arms are under brains letting him slide off and making him unstable.
But realisticaly who cares becuase its just whatever sam decides at the end lol

Edit: Brian is screaming at Cole that he goes to soup kitchens to eat and that he needs this show to survive. He's throwing himself a pity party.

If cole doesn't get unfairly removed then I'm team Cole all the way. Fuck the rest of the cast.

Huge X to doubt. Her illness might drive her to become hyper obsessed with the show as a way to recoup being kicked off. She’s now able to go back and see the Fish talk shit about her. She can obsessively watch the show waiting to hear herself mentioned and get driven insane seeing the fish talk shit or get upset they’re not talking about her. Let’s not forget she’s now going to be able to interact with people who talk shit about her on social media too.

Did anyone catch Brian's screaming fit about having a "hard life in an apartment" after Cole said something to him? Jet had to remind him to calm down because there's "a grown man on your back"

I'm not surprised Cole is winning, he did say he works in construction for a living. Meanwhile Brian said in his life story that he doesn't do shit. He might be tall but he's clearly not in the best of shape.
