With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

    Votes: 170 22.2%
  • 4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

    Votes: 405 52.9%

If the wiggers had any sense they'd have a separate speadsheet open to calculate just how much income's resutled from jaggots spending $50 a hit to spam the J key, imagine if it turns out to be 1/3 or more of total income and not just TTS income.

Current tier list based on content. Not likability. For example I like most of the fish more than Brian or Trish. Cole I consider the current center of the show. Most of the romance shenanigans were built around him. Tay has taken two days off for the most part. I like TJ but all he has is dancing.

Thank you for using a more objective topic vs subjective. That alone deserves you praise times infinity you mad genius.

May you be blessed with proper website performance for the rest of the season. Amen 🙏

This is probably the closet I've ever agreed to a tier list. Trish, as a person, hasn't done much really imo
But as a prop for both Brian and Cole she absolutely deserves that spot. Tay is fucking useless. The one thing I recall her doing is freaking out yesterday. TJ is dull but feels harmless. Shinji stocks I feel like are dropping a bit as he only does anything once you shove some liquor in that tiny japanese boi, but when you do it's fun.

Here's another Shinji moment from when he was drunk and oversharing last night. Day 7, 5:32 AM FT. He's talking about some anime he likes when TTS interrupts him. For those who don't understand what he's doing at 0:25, he's shushing and gesticulating like Nikocado Avocado does. Cole can't understand what he's saying, and it leads to this funny exchange between them.

Merry Fishmas everyone. I have been loving the contestants this season and tried to make a content focused list too.

S Tier - Cole
Cole was funny/interesting to watch from the beginning with the spastic schizo detective stuff. Him ranting to the camera and talking to himself was a huge ++ the first couple days. Cole became S tier after the Crocodile Squats/ JC leaving double whammy. Him saying goodbye to her after breaking down, and then suffering in silence afterwards was probably the most compelling thing I've seen on Fishtank. His arc has already begun.

A Tier - Shinji, Jimmy, and Summer (in that order)
- Shinji has been all around entertaining to watch as he has fun in the ]tank, isn't shy, and is a bizarre sex crazed freak who humps the air and tells people openly about his sexual desires with no shame. After the Evangelion song last night, I'm convinced he will be consistently entertaining.
- Jimmy is the Jon of this season in that he is constantly babbling and being annoying to both the contestants and the audience. The gooning shit yesterday was proof that he was more to offer. I hated him at first but now I can't help but laugh when he makes his embarrassing internet references or just spills out slurs to a room full of girls.
- Summer was content.

B Tier - JC, Brian, & Trish
- JC was fantastic as the enemy spy. Her betrayal and manipulation of Cole was really great to watch. Also being the only non-MDE fan led to some really funny reactions. My favorite JC moment is when Tay said "Why does everyone call me trans?!" and JC said "I thought you were trans, that's why I asked for everyone's pronouns."
- Brian chad mogging all the other male fish is pretty entertaining. His personality is awful, and he's shaping up to be a great villain.
- Trish is really boring. The only interesting stuff she has done is seducing the male fish and causing fights, which is more the producers' bit than hers, but she did do a really good job of it. Her fighting with Jimmy was cool.

C Tier - TJ & Megan
-
TJ is also really boring, but sometimes his babbling/fake stimming bit had me cracking up. All the fish seem to like his personality, which isn't very interesting as there's no conflict around him.
- Megan has done almost nothing interesting this whole show. Something tells me she has a dark side that we will be seeing more of as the season continues. If that doesn't happen, she's going home soon.

D Tier - Tayleigh
Tayleigh suffers from the same issue as TJ, she has a likable personality that is conflict averse. She hasn't done anything interesting and has just been sleeping the past couple days. I don't think Tayleigh has anything to offer at this point.

Jon just posted this to his Instagram. I assume it's from the week before Fishtank started when everyone was hanging out. Jet can't get off his phone even for a picture, I guess. Nor can he escape the early 2000s.

Jimmy started hunting for the made up haunted dolls all around the house (under kitchen appliances, in the toilet bowl, inside a plant pot, etc) and eventually decided to search inside the wall that Cole already smashed. Jet was in the next room, so he came in immediately. Jet advised to instead lay traps for them, so I think Jimmy may be under the impression that the dolls are autonomous.

*Jet enters*
"Would the dolls be in the walls?"
"Augh! Not again!"

As I was writing this, Jimmy also burnt his hand on a hot water pipe and Jet told him to take a break.
"Don't touch any of those wires, you'll blow your hand off."
Undeterred, Jimmy decided to search Bedroom 1. No haunted dolls have been found (again, they do not exist) but Shinji's glasses turned up.
