With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

IMO Season 1 had the best ratio of MDE fans vs people totally in the dark. You definitely need a couple fish to be "in the know" to an extent like Vance and Letty to play off absolute retards like Jon, but if everyone is in the know then it's just dead on arrival.

What I'm curious about is what the casting process was like for this season. Jet played it up as this great undertaking to find the right people for this season, but like, the cast last season was objectively more lively and dedicated to making the show great, and I'm sure the casting was far less intensive than this season.

I get a sense that Jet blew casting to play an epic "prank" on Kiwifarms/4chan types. By getting them all to think they the special one. Except mega brain's huge reveal was blown almost straight away. Jet's whippet brain is known to get hyper fixated on stupid ideas he only cares about. You can see how his edited version of Fishtank bombed.

Yes. Because thats what gets any woman wet. Throwing a temper tantrum on a show and walking if they do not bring them back. Some true levels of simpery on full display here. Now lets vote. Who was the bigger simp in the end. Cole or Summer. My vote is cole seeing as right now he is pacing the room having to tell himself he is not obsessed with her while talking about her nonstop.

A TTS came to the effect of "Cole I'm an actual casting director and if you quit no one will hire you, you'll be blacklisting for quitting half-way into production" and it fucking worked. Cole said "Oh...YOU'RE RIGHT!" and he rushed downstairs for a lighter. Then I walked away for a moment but now he's been convinced because of Halo?

For him, it's not a problem of being unable to do it. Everyone on the show is against him, he doesn't have any friends in the house. And he's spending all his day just trying his best to waste his time.
It's just a matter of time before the thought creeps into his head. "What am I doing with my life ?".
There's just nothing for him to do.

He's staying because of Halo lore. I think the issue is that these fish are all weak and actually unhinged. Everyone thought Summer was a bit until she wasn't.

Edit: Jet is brought Cole an xbox with halo 3.
 
holy shit cole literally broke the tank. hell house has become comfy house, if jet doesnt fluff the fish just right they will leave and he is shit out of luck.

Given how this season is going so far, if I was one of those angel investors I’d be pissed. I don’t see this season lasting the full time with how fast people are leaving. I think next season (if there is one) they should start with a starting amount of money for coming onto the show and telling the fish that if they voluntarily leave they lose all their earnings. However, if they are eliminated or win, obviously, they get to keep their earnings. That way they’re incentivized to stay.
