The 70s theme, and they didn't even do the funny bit and bring him the atari 2600 version of halo. This truly is the coddletank.
Could work out, though. Other fish are absolutely SEETHING and already making plans to fuck with Cole over this. Could be some good conflict, everyone's getting along too well so far.

Wasn't a big part of this season the 1970s theme? Jet's just throwing that in the trash to keep Cole from leaving? Wooooooooooooow. These fish are so weak man.
Cole is a rich and powerful man with toys from the future unlike the poor people below. All he needs now is a personal bitch.

This will be Halo graphics in 1972!

Will the conflict last though? Cole already wants to leave and unlike everyone else, he has no real incentive to stay since he will always have his family business to fall back on. This might just hasten his departure lol.

Tbf he was already planning to stay because of Halo quotes. The xbox was probably brought up for the lulz and to piss the other fish off.

What's the point of keeping him here if he just plays video games for the rest of the show?

cole: “listen here bitch. this gorilla daddy dick is hungry, and if you dont blow me right, i might kill you”

jet: “heres your halo please dont leave cole”

$JET bagholders in tears rn

I think the xbox idea is smart. It serves two purposes, it keeps cole in the tank a little longer but more importantly it builds up the point even further that Cole is spoiled and "above" the rest of the fish. Drama is imminent.

I don't actually care for Cole tbh. If he stays and actually tries to do the challenges and not demand to be coddled, great. If he's just going to hold the show hostage if he isn't given what he wants, then I hope he is removed quickly.

He's the most popular fish though so I don't expect Jet to let him go easily, he's making them money.

I mentioned this in chat but so far I have only heard Brian, Tay, and Shinji talk about wanting the money. I think Jimmy will be able to stay because he has grown up in way shittier situations, but he also seems to be throwing more tantrums and antagonizing production which could be a problem.

I think they would really have to press those four to have an interesting dynamic if they wind up being the final four, with Brian driving it. He has plotted against Tay while being really nice to her face and I think is beginning to do the same to Jimmy. Tay and Jimmy have talked shit on each other (well, Jimmy screamed) but they forgive/forget it quick. Shinji is adored but just there, his only push will be in physical challenges. Jet made it very, very clear he likes Shinji. Nearly all the fans do.

They desperately want Cole to stay and I understand why, and I think they will move mountains to make it happen, but dude's heart is just not in it. They will have to coddle hard to keep him and I think people will turn on him after so many times like with Jon.

Jimmy apparently has a job back home at some factory too. I don't recall hearing what Trish does for a living but now that you mention it, I never hear her talk about money like the others. Anyone know if she has a job or rich parents?

I also keep forgetting TJ exists because he's so boring. What's his money situation?

i think this could work out, its like a reverse Josie, where production coddles him and the rest of this fish fuck with him non stop.

they should also start sending him all the plushies you know they bought for summer.

"You know these brokies *stifles laughter* wanna put you in a puddle, that's why they conspiring against you to take yo xbawks away"
"Are they really?"
"Yes immediately when you got it, they don't want one for themselves they just don't want you to have one"

This is what every sam hyde dickrider dreams of and Cole acts like it's nothing. They're currently deathmatching each other, Cole might not know it now but this will be what decides if he stays or is eliminated. As the saying goes, if you swing at the judge, you better not miss.

"The trash isn't that funny destroying stuff isn't that funny"
I agree - it's not funny. But seeing the house deteriorate in S1 was awesome and definitely in line with the "hell house" concept. If we get to the end and the whole house is still intact and clean, that will suck.
Might as well trash it, with all the smoking going on, they're going to have to rip out anything that absorbs the smell if they're going to flip it.

Week 2 will end with the fish unionizing and making demands or else they all leave. The only one left will be shinji because his japanese blood prevented him from going against the company he is working for.

ok I need TORTURE TO GO UP. like VERY SOON. I cant take this anymore. every day I am checking fishtank and it is always coddling. every day, check fishtank, coddling. I cant take this anymore, I have over invested, by a lot. it is what it is. but I need the torture to GO UP ALREADY. can jet DO SOMETHING??

I don't think Cole needs coddling, just needed to be talked some sense into.
