That has to be the biggest issue with bringing in fans, if they get wise to just how much leverage they have its completely over for production. It seems Cole may have caught on, but It seems to elude most of the fish. The Fish who got stuck being somewhat coddled in an attempt to keep them on would have caught on I think, but they left instead.
Well what’s another issue was that not only was cole aware of MDE, He stated in the VC interview on Meg’s discord that he wasn’t really a fan of MDE like that. So there was no real reason for him to remain respectful of production or the show itself.

@no-exit i hate to bother you but do you recall if he mentioned what I quoted in any of the recordings you made?

Edit: nevermind someone just helped confirm it. Kudos @Da R00D D00D

Yeah, I wasn't sure if Sam and Jet were just being retarded or if they wanted Cole gone but now I lean towards them wanting him gone.

Jet had already convinced Cole to stay with a Halo TTS earlier, then he brought the Xbox turning all the other fish against Cole even more. Cole had made it clear before the Xbox was there that he would stay, and that what he really wanted was someone on his side. He kept bringing up JC and I think at one point even mentioned just bringing in a freeloader to be on his team. If they really wanted him to stay they easily could have brought a freeloader with the mission of helping Cole.

Then Sam made him do karate lessons alone with Shinji just to make everyone more mad and give them time to cut up his stuff.

Frankly I don't blame him for not wanting to stay. There's 5 weeks left and the only person that doesn't hate him is Shinji and he seems to have a pretty good life outside the tank unlike the rest of them. I am disappointed at his leaving though, he made great content. I thought his bluntness towards everyone was funny and that him playing up the narcissism in a house full of poors was great, plus he made Brian seethe constantly. Now I'm not sure how much of his narcissism was an act (he even mentioned it was something he needed to work on) and he seems like a bit of an asshole.
I strongly agree with your sentiment here, he was a great content driver. But he was just too self-aware and there’s no telling if he would have used his leverage to try to blatantly fuck with the show’s flow by suddenly becoming uncooperative or making unnecessary references to s1 as a blatant “fuck you, I do what I want” to Sam.

I'm actually retarded for ever thinking that Jet had anything even close to a long-term plan.
I saw a screenshot yesterday, Jet said in his chat that they have nothing planned day to day. Again. Despite the result of that decision unfolding in front of us now and the entirety of last season, I still can't believe that because how do you make that mistake twice? I can't even relate to that as a hypothetical. Being flexible and open to changes-in-plan based on what the contestants get up to is one thing (that they don't seem to do because how often they DO interrupt good shit), but to just sit around and have little to nothing prepared for that day or the next?

It's especially insane considering s1 was a success, so they know putting in the work will reap rewards unlike the first time around when it was more of a experiment. Maybe this is what happens when you abuse drinking/drugs as a teenager, not even saying that as an insult but it's hard to even begin to understand the mindset otherwise.

Letty (Nina) deleted her twitter account.

I haven't been watching at all. Are they seriously 3-4 contestants down at hardly even 8 days in?
yea.
Summer was literally too insane to stay and left.
JC left when things got too intense for her, being the only normie in the tank. Somewhat of a sacrifice, saving Brian/Cole from being legitimately eliminated after their Gatorsquats challenge. Both got to stay.
Megan got scared of Jimmy's outburst after the hogtie challenge on Christmas, but also seemed to be disappointed in production having no plan and fucking up a lot.
Cole was booted for a few reasons I guess, talking about Season 1 too much, or more likely, talking about the meta at all. It is actually not too clear.

King Brick Sh!t's channel was nuked within the last two hours around when Letty deleted everything (I know this because I was in the middle of watching), so now LETTYCELL INTERVIEW - PART 1-4 - JEREMY TOMMY is gone. Does anyone have a backup? There was so much info from both of Letty's exes, but have only been able to listen to 1 and 2.

Has there been something that would explain why she did this?
Nothing has been announced or made official but a segment of Cole's fans are saying he got kicked for talking too much about season one and realnaming Letty, aka Nina, today and they're blaming her (or saying the basement crew is covering for her by not letting anyone realname her) for his departure. It also seems some of her more deranged haters from season one still haven't gotten over it and using this to fan the flames even when they haven't cared about this season. She is probably laying low for a bit and will reactivate later.

I hate those people so much. Literal retards.

It's kind of incredible how much of a success S1 was, and having that amount of success completely outside of any kind of mainstream promotion was especially amazing, and they were in a great position to take advantage of it after S1.

And then Jet decides to hurriedly edit the S1 episodes into a boring glorified clip channel compilation, and then Jet decided to play an epic prank on everyone by having the entire cast of S2 be MDE fans on purpose for God knows what reason, and then they continue to not plan any challenges or activities out or give the fish a reason to give a shit about them, and then have your shitty casting bite you in the ass by having almost half your cast gone by the first week because they should have been screened out before the show even started.

I know S1 was at a low point at around the same time, but at least I gave a shit about the weirdos and still wanted to watch them be retarded. I feel like if I start giving a shit about any of the remaining contestants they'll be the next to leave, since the most interesting person has been the first to leave every time so far. Overall this feels like a perfect example of messing up a golden opportunity by rushing things to capitalize on hype instead of doing things right.

With Cole gone I really can't care about season 2 anymore, all the interesting fish have left, and the only left I enjoy is Shinji, a guy that doesn't do anything for most of the day.

Part 2 : Cole QnA Session

He said he was kicked for breaking contract for talking about season 1, like comparing his situation to Jon. This seems like the dumbest fucking reason to kick your most popular guy.
They got 9 fans of the show and then proceed to force them to avoid any comparison from what they know. It makes sense to have that in the first few days, when they where supposedly pretending to be normal. But after the twist had happened, forcing them to keep that up seems very weird.

It's amazing how much they dropped the ball yesterday.
There was a moment where the entire house seethed at Cole for locking himself away in the room as he plays Xbox with Sam and Shinji, so what does production do?!
HOW ABOUT MORE KARATE
Cole was unironically right to call out the production for the lazy bits and rehashed ideas. So what's their follow up after their most popular contestant calls the production lazy?
BRING BACK CHIP

I stopped watching, and thanking God that I'm not wasting the rest of my time. I'll still browse and lurk to catch maybe occasional highlights but no one, absolutely no one left in there can carry the show right now. Especially right after they did a group therapy session that made them all come across as unlikable cunts.
