theres a lot of miscommunication with the terminology being used. everyone but JC was confirmed to have seen season 1 (an infiltrator; like vance) but not necessarily to have been given instructions on how to act (a plant; like damiel). sam told TJ that one of the fish isnt an actual competitor but an “actor” that isnt competing for the grand prize.

Social pressure is hard for most people to resist. If the game involves drinking, you don't socialize if you refuse to play. It's hard for most people to resist that pressure to socialize. It gives those that refuse a disadvantage too. The game shouldn't involve using drugs in the first place. If the drug users want to use, they still can, it's just not a component of the game. I have the same problem and opinion about bars and normie parties. The solution is to find friends that don't use drugs.

Well yeah that's what drug addicts should be but adults are responsible for themselves. It's not Sam's responsibility. This kind of thing is so wildly out of anyone but the addict's control that getting worked up over it is just getting upset over something virtually impossible to force into fruition ( in this case forcing an addict to quit when they actively seek out sources of their addiction). And well, they didn't have to come onto the game where alcohol and tobacco use was advertised.
