I think a bigger problem is that they have codified inter-fish spats with the beef system. You have a problem with another fish? Slow down buddy this is a Sam Hyde show, please submit a grievance form and an appropriate beef challenge will be assigned within 2-3 business days. It fucking bogles the mind that they would do this, I guarentee there will never be any clothes thrown in a toilet or quite literally any real tension in the house because of this.
Now I do have a theory about this, #1 sam suffered real legal issues with S1 and isn't willing to bear it a second time (fair tbh), but more likely #2) lazy wigger crew don't want to find all the highlights manually so having a barman and a formal beef system allows them to easily edit together the season's drama.

Jet invites scrutiny due to his behavior. Riding the high of season 1's success he was insufferable and demeaning towards fans (and Hassle) and seemed to have it in his head season 2 would be at least as successful by default.
Season 2 happens and to no one's surprise he has seemingly done minimal prep and suddenly he's not talking shit to viewers because he looks like the incompetent loser he is. If they do another season and Sam keeps Jet in his current role it's honestly a slap in the face to the fans, Jet consistently fails to deliver and actively sabotages good things on the show.
People make fun of Sam all the time for it and Sam knows it. Those tweets are effectively a running gag at this point.
I didn't think anything of it but from what I gathered people were pissed that the crew seems to be giving themselves a pat on the back after one of the most boring days and a rocky season overall. I understand where they're coming from, especially because they played around with the fish a bit after strictly enforcing curfew and even invited Trish to the bar. Then the fish were all up again but not doing anything so FOMO will set back in for a lot of people.
Jet or Ben should have had public perception in mind with the crew hanging out at the bar and basically being the only thing to watch on the show, it can easily come off as them taking the spotlight from the fish. I'm sure it's been rough for the crew but that isn't what viewers care about.
Generally speaking, this season is rough and Jet has proven he's incompetent. When he's in charge, he tends to involve himself a lot. When Sam is present, Jet rarely says a word, not even over TTS. Seems like he's more focused on having fun than running a successful show and when his boss is around he can't get up to his usual shenanigans without getting in trouble.
What has Jet done this season to help move it along in a positive direction for anyone but himself? Has he done anything to increase profits or boost/retain viewership? These are questions he should be asking himself.

Yeah, his sister confirmed that he is playing up some on the show but that he more or less acts just as spergy in real life and talks nonstop about the same subjects over and over again like he does on the show.

Nope. Another nontent day so far. Jet has awoken at 5pm to get the fish to do some stuff, nothing important will happen until Sam arrives, as is the theme of the season.

crazy idea but sam should demote or replace jet with Vance and maybe josie.
i would think Vance might be able to do a better job then jet (low bar to pass i know) and would have a good perspective from both sides of the camera, and i think Josie could be good for encouraging people to stay as they get tormented.

she probably said no. Letty has too much pride/laziness to join Sam. plus the immigrant stuff. Which i find more odd, whats stopping nick or sam from hiring her to run the online store or some other bullshit job that would sound good to immigration and have her real job be to work on the show.

I think Jet has higher potential than Vance for the role but he needs to be humbled and grow up. That may be asking too much, I know. I cannot fathom Vance convincingly manipulating people or dealing with more chaotic situations on the fly better than Jet, however.
Josie would probably be decent for ideas, something she personally stresses with her own streams, and doing repetitive tasks. Best kept behind the scenes, she's not going to sincerely keep people motivated to stay or reel people back in unless she makes serious gains in social confidence.
Gotta say, I think Vance and Josie have done a good job staying in their lane as crew when they're upstairs.
