i slept on the top bunk of one of these a few months ago in a vacation cabin in the mountains. they are pretty sturdy but small. i knocked over a large cabinet with ceramic decorations steadying myself while descending and shattered one of them. i rearranged it so it looked full and got away with it with no after charges.

Just came back from this tropical resort kind of place and there was this wood patio roof cover thing and I decided, for some reason, to attempt a pull up on one of those beams that stick out. Now, I'm 6 feet and 130 pounds, moreover, the beams were a lot thicker than the ones in the image, so I thought it would be ok. The moment my feet leave the ground, half of the width of that outer area that sticks out breaks and falls on me. Luckily nobody saw.
