With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Yeah, she might have been completely fine at the time, but after the show ends when she looks back on it she might decide for whatever reason to press charges, and what happened meets the legal definition of sexual assault. Considering how Summer, Jimmy, Megan, Jon, etc. all act about the show after they were off of it, I wouldn't be surprised if she does, especially if she doesn't win.

Again, I don't think a kiss is a particularly terrible thing to happen to her, but it sets them up for more legal liability than anything else that's happened on either season.

If you haven't realized by now over half this thread are Tay simps. I haven't watched the clips but they way half the posts are worded in here they make it seem like Frank was grabbing handfuls of titss and ass off Tay, then bending her over in front of the cameras. We're not saying it was full on rape, we're saying it's full on sexual assault, because it is. I've never liked Tay, and I've always rooted for basically everyone else to win but her. The fact that they let it happen is upsetting not for Tay's sake, but because if production puts even a little bit of thought into it they'll realize she can fuck them over as soon as the show's over because they filmed themselves committing assault, and they'll do whatever they can to make sure she wins in hopes of bribing her not to press charges.

He has a defense: He did it for a bit, and that's why he missed. The hammer obviously didn't hit her directly, at most it rebounded. She seemed fine on the show until she left, and didn't have any physical evidence until after she left and took a picture. It's not a good defense, but it's something. He also was a contestant, not production

Frank has zero defense, and was directly employed by the show.

And I'm saying this thread has people playing it up like he forced a five second frencher and worse on her. I went back and watched the clip and it's a fucking peck on the lips. What actually happened; I watched it live.
Tayleigh kept getting pushed and given drinks when she was already too drunk.
Frank, who is not even close to being drunk, grabs Tayleigh, who is now struggling to form coherent sentences, and kisses her.

Is this a morally right thing to do?

Stop looking at this from a "Justice4Tay" perspective and try to view it as an opportunity to fuck over Sam, Jet and Frank for a settlement.

Tay can very easily claim she doesn't remember anything and that consent was not given because she was heavily drunk.

There’s a coercion element because tens of thousands of dollars in prize money exists as a constant pressure to continue going along as things ratchet up.

Frank Hassle was facilitating an official event and targeted Tay with the majority of the burden of the challenging element, which happened to be getting drunk. Frank was using a good cop/bad cop dynamic, his sexual gratification was presented as a way out of her bad situation that Frank had created.

This didn’t all happen in a vacuum at someone’s house party.

I don't know how to be any clearer to you. I don't think Tay will be traumatized over a peck, because she won't even remember it. That's the whole problem. Middle school parties with truth or dare don't involve people paying a girl to drink to the point of being unable to consent, and then grabbing their head to force a peck. Whether or not it was a terrible thing to happen to Tay is a matter of opinion: mine is that it's not that big a deal. Whether or not it's sexual assault isn't a matter of opinion, though. Frank is fucked if Tay decides to fuck him over, and production is likely liable as well. They put themselves in a position where one of their contestants can put one of their staff in prison for sexual assault, and that's a bad position to be in when you're trying to run a competition.

It's an opportunity for Tay to fuck over the crew, if she so chooses. It's not pearl clutching, it's being aghast that the production was incompetent enough to film themselves commit a crime which has a minimum 3 years in prison consequence.

Production didn't throw the hammer, and Jimmy has a (bad) defense that he did nothing wrong. Production is (probably) in the clear because they removed him, and (presumably) would witness on the victims behalf if it came to it. According to Rhode Island law, Frank, a member of production, committed second degree sexual assault.
