let's not forget Tay escalated against Trish with a falcon punch to her face - that would get ANY other contestant kicked off

the fish this season (shinji less so) are fans of the old show, so they understood they were subjecting themselves to torment and harrassment for money prizes

people worried about alcohol haven't said shit about cigarettes? the theme is 1970's so sure, smoke cigs, but that is worse than getting kicked, having piss thrown on you, any of it in terms of SELF HARM

production are amateurs which comes with goods and bads - the way Vance and Ben were "security" or orderlies for Jimmy when he was all hornymad at blondes was an clear example of how in over their heads they could be. Jimmy had the goblin girl cornered in a room, he could have struck her head with the mallet but released it at the wall beside her, and he moved the bedframe to obstruct access

another F was casting Summer or Meg, literal medical invalids - the comedy beyond the show are fans expecting any high standards when this is grunge net garbage and not much more

Edit: Imagine how much better the Fish Tank S1 edit would be if Sam paid Schultz to do it.
Does shultz have his own things he makes thats not MDE? he's pretty good at what he does I was just wondering is you guys had recommendations for what to watch from him if he had a peak video moment?

I always though that era of sam was just videos he made to shut up the people who were asking him for like actual polished content instead of car cam screaming rants.

I think Schultz is Sam's new hopeful that is probably stretched thin working on WP2. Hopefully he's even half as good as Ruse. Schultz seems to be what he had hopes Don Jolly would be.

He's been doing this stuff for awhile, I was kind of surprised when they brought him on for WP2 since his videos are basically alt-MDE when MDE broke up after WP1

hes worked with mde for a long time. in a podcast sam mentioned people sending him alexs stuff because it was so similar to mde and he would respond with something like “yeah dipshit why do you think its so similar?”

Start of the season this thread was great because posts would detail the going ons of the tank with the best shit clipped. Now the thread has turned into a hen house where every instance of nontent is treated like content and discussed ad infinitum. We've had 8 pages discussing a fucking kiss and whether or not it's sexual assault. Its a great reflection of the show and how shit it has gotten I guess.
That's what happens when almost nothing happens on the show and people want the people running it to suffer. Looking forward to Jet's 16 hour days sleeping on the office floor as he advances culture further with god-awful edits and thinking this season was anything but dogshit.
"At first, I thought it was weird...but as it went on, I understood it was some kind of bit...when they took us downstairs, they asked me, you do understand this is a joke pretty much? And I was like yeah, I understand... and yeah, you guys saw that he grabbed my face and he made me kiss him...but it was a bit."

I knew she was going to laugh it off and say everything was fine, but that's a pretty weird way to try and convince everyone that what happened was okay. She doesn't realize that what she said makes the crew look even worse.

If it really was a "joke" then why didn't the crew get Tay's consent and let her know before Frank did it, rather than after? What if when they had taken her downstairs and asked her if she knew it was a joke, she had said "No, I didn't know this was a joke"? What would they have done then? They really are so irresponsible.
Classic fraternity tactics and victim cope. I'd love for Jet/Ben to explain how this was ok publicly.

First i've heard of this, not that i've looked into it.On his channel if you check the playlist of "short films directed by alex schultz" he has 2 mde videos with one from 3 years ago but besides that I don't think they've done anything? Not that sam has been putting out much the last few years besides hydewar and podcasts.

probably not sexual assault
Forcing a blackout drunk girl to make out with you and trying to coerce her into sucking your dick is sexual assault.

All I want is for WP2 to be funny and well-edited. If WP2 flops, it's over.

i have no idea what specifically hes done, i never look at work credits. just saying sam seems to have worked with him for several years at least.

Also for those who didn't know this, Sam said on the PKA podcast after Season 1 that they did the show with no insurance

I had suspected something like this but I didn't know it for sure until seeing this. Normally, I wouldn't be such a faggot and would support guerilla style productions because fuck the over-regulated government and industry trying to keep people out. However, there is a difference between Sam, Jet and his crew knowingly taking these risks with a high possible reward compared to the contestants.

Maybe with their attempt to go more legit and trying to get $1 million in investing they are following the rules this season but the news of the city being surprised at what was going on and the productions failure to get a free permit from the state would say they aren't. Things like Jimmy being allowed back after throwing a mallet at someones head and the reliance on content like forced drinking also says there isn't a real lawyer or insurance company monitoring the production. God forbid one of the contestants or low level crew did get hurt to any real extent. Some cash from Sam and a protracted legal fight isn't going to make up for not being able to work or a life changing permanent injury.

Wait until she fully sobers up., especially when she finishes the show and gets hammered on all her socials about it.
Frank was running the dare game and she was told to drink and do his dares for an advantage in the finals. His dare games got increasingly sexual towards her (the others in the contest were pretty much ignored) as she got increasingly drunk, all on video.
It will be interesting to see how she responds to that after she's off the show, getting hammered on her socials about what happened and how much money she could possibly make.
It was a real bonehead move on production's part to run that as a bit. Sure it was pretty much harmless because it was eventually stopped, but it was so idiotic, it's almost unbelievable. As soon as it started getting sexual, it should have been stopped.
Think of Jimmy / Taylor and the hot dog eating contest. Sam jumped in right away at the first sign of trouble. Without Sam there, the rest of the crew just let it go on way too long. Wiggers are idiots.

She’ll be payed well, put in MDE skits, go on Charls show, go on Sam’s live stream, etc. No way she’s going to trade that social clout for a Twitter accusation.

Anyway, I hope this swamp olympics thing delivers. The last several days have been so boring. It feels like even production has lost interest in the show at this point.
Are we about to witness Shit Uranus fucking up the obstacle course for autists idea?

Also, pretty amusing to see how hard it is for some people to understand a concept as simple as "don't take advantage of drunk women". I thought people on KF of all places would be strongly against consent accidents.

the wiggers are in a bit of a pickle, because the last time they erred against Frank, Sam and the Hyde army put the shortpants back on Jet Nepobaby

It's so close to the end that I could see it causing a bit of a pickle, whether she wins or not. She might want a possible big bag over Sam Hyde clout.
It was just such a stupid thing to do and let go on for so long. The people in the basement thinking that creepiness was content should be shot and pissed on. That's leaving yourself way too open for future trouble.
Frank was running the challenge and she was the fish, the only fish he was focused on while doing the challenge. She had to follow his instructions to win the challenge, while she was being pumped full of alcohol, that she also had to drink as part of the challenge. The challenge was her acquiescing to his increasing sexual advances while drinking more alcohol. That was the challenge.
Anyone with half a brain watching that unfold would pretty quickly say 'Hey, maybe this isn't a great idea' way sooner. I'm amazed by the stupidity.
