  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

The LARP setting was a nice touch this season and I hope Sam does it again in future seasons. Watching these autists try to stay in character never gets old.
 
This is so fucking stupid, it is so god damn cringe. I wish I could be there and play. This shit makes me smile and I enjoy it so much.

This is not an new observation at all but the reason why Vance works well as a Fish is he is the nearest thing to a normal person on the show so you get reactions that only a normal person would give. Tay isn't normal, Letty isn't normal, Tai isn't nowma, Jon isn't normal, Jimmy is about as far from normal as you can get. Vance is the straight man and that's a very important role in comedy. You need a normie among freaks.

The reason Vance doesn't work (and I'll throw Brian into this category as well) is because he thinks he's better than the other retards on the show. And it might technically be true but it makes him boring as shit to watch.
