With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

The fighting has resumed. Tai is dead on the ground again already, I think not realizing he can stand up with 0 lifebands. Also Goblin got a kill! Tay is also now dead on the ground with 0 bands left.

Jimmy has 1 band left, Letty has 1 band left, Vance has 0. The party is on their last legs.

The party has now been cleaned up. Jimmy was the last man standing. Jet reveals this was a 'scripted death' for everyone and shouted 'HALO REACH'. Everyone has been restored to their previous life band counts before the arena while vampires celebrated the complete victory. Goblin also leaned into the camera and said "I'm still gonna fuck with their stuff." Vampires fist bumped with all the party members and said 'good game' before leaving. For being the last man standing, Jimmy has earned REAL MONEY and a daily power to slow time for 30 seconds.

With the night over, everyone has been sent back to basecamp. Jons tired (from walking around not doing any fighting) and everyone needs some rest. Goblin argued with letty saying the scroll she used to befriend him no longer applies. Jet also says if production has any drinks left, they'll give the party some but not to let their guard down for future drunk vampire attacks. Everyone agrees they had a great time fighting in the smoke and music, Tai gives a shoutout to ifunny for the 'smoke and gunpowder we all inhaled'

The guy who left as soon as the alleged kid enjoyer was mocked and exiled is now defending him? Shocker, sure hope he doesn't have kiddo-sized skeletons in his closet.

I feel like I have no idea wtf is going on since I don't have the free time to watch much of the stream, and when I do they are asleep lol. But I have enjoyed the out of context clips I've consumed.

Jon accusing Jimmy of attempted murder had me giggling. And Jon staring into the void as NPCs t-posed all around him was kino.

Seems like it's getting more unhinged and fishtank like though

It's like a filler episode, they both had money and needed more money. I think they're waiting for the s2 house sale to liquidate so they can get the final funds for season 3 in august and also to tech demo a lot of new stuff they have in mind bodycams, drones, and better streaming and tech options for reliability. Honestly its been a lot of fun to watch and see my favorite little fishies participate again. Also shout out Maejok

I'm enjoying it. My best friend loved season 1 and 2, I watched a little of it, but I didn't enjoy it. This season showed me the upside of characters and in the future, I plan on watching Fish Tank 3 with my best bro for once. So, I like it. It flipped a switch for me.
 
After all this, I have high hopes for Season 3. They made some money using land they own, they got a whole lot of the cast back together to clear up that post competition anger, and they showed some variety compared to the usual house arrest scenario. Having this break was fun and it'll make getting back to a locked-in season feel fresh. My ONLY worry is that they'll have trouble getting contestants who don't know about fishtank, but apparently the contestants have already been selected/being selected through an acting agency.

I think it would've been better if Tay hadn't abandoned the Xayleigh plotline, that's the only really downer moment, and it was plotline I was into.

But this is a solid mix of funny and tense for the fish. Best season.

This is the longest I've ever watched fish tank. and the larping content has made me want to watch it consistently but it's been a really slow burn. The 'writers' seem genuinely clueless about having consistent activities to motivate the fish. So over half the day is them standing around. The TTS is the best part of the show. the fish need a ton of hand holding to do anything, their primary motivation is to sit around and gossip when they're not permitted to use hard drugs, so it almost seems like they should have consulted with special education teachers on how to make side quests more alluring, wave some fucking bright colors around or something. I think Vance has been the only person who bothered to go look for hidden items around the forest.

The real promise that fishtank has been wasted on a restricted level of schadenfreude. and it's really boring because of it. They're not allowed to make fun of Jet Neptune's disgusting hair cut. or the fact that in Vampire Makeup Sam Hyde looks like a dead Groucho Marx, None of the fish had the motivation to smuggle in water balloons and nail airsoft fatty in the tits. Treating a clown like airsoft fatty with respect is the most boring idea possible, they've made it policy. they're really concerned with maintaining a level of immersion in dipshit fake baby games. so they're missing out on 80% of the opportunities for everyone to eat shit. It's a clown show with very few clowns. Best moment so far was the goblin trashing their camp and throwing shit around at midnight.
 
I don't think I've ever met anyone IRL who know what Fish Tank is. I just met a girl who loves old Sam Hyde bathroom videos and likes internet hunor, and she's never heard of it either.

It won't be hard finding ppl that don't know shit. But I can't imagine niggas who think they are on Big Brother putting up with this lol
 
I'm relieved that this season didn't devolve into poopy piss play. Hearing Sam wax philosophical about the "beauty of art" followed by the horrendous shit that happened in s2 put a sour taste in my mouth.

It's crazy it has popped off like this though, I wonder if he pissed anyone off before he got kicked off because I didn't think they'd be legit about how much money he was making. I thought they were fucking with him.
