I love this season but the binary fish vs vampires premise is lame and one dimensional. It's fun but it ultimately lacks what makes fishtank Fishtank: scheming and distrust of one other. Besides, there's no reason for all the fish to be aligned in a roleplay and it would be far more engaging if they weren't
Here's my new plot that would have made s2.5 so much better:
The second team are cold hard psychopaths (Tay and Jimmy) trying to buy out the entire the town and become lords over the vampires
John, Tai and Greg are clueless and their goal is to survive the duke and retain their stolen goods.
Offer a cash prize to the winning clan. Boom, fish would be more motivated to role play and this show would be much more enjoyable to watch. Thoughts?
Here's my new plot that would have made s2.5 so much better:
- The fish are bank robbers who barely escaped their last heist
- They settle upon Schitty and try to establish a life under new aliases
- (Any NPC discovering the real name of the fishies is a lose scenario)
- Xavier sets upon the fishes as a chance of unseating the Duke
