the moment she was caught expressing her suspicions, something like this was bound to be the way to take control of where it develops before she spreads it to others and she herself shuts down

one way of salvaging it would be to cater to her ego and make her feel special for being in on something the others aren't

Yesterday, Sam went into bedroom 2 to reiterate to the women that they need to not whisper. During that conversation Sam addressed Mizzy and called her the "it girl", obviously trying to sow discord between her and the rest of the girls. Well this afternoon LaRon and Alexis were in the confessional gossiping insufferably as usual, Alexis brings up the "it girl" comment and was clearly seething about it.

Bravo Sam. You can tell Alexis can't stand not being the most popular person in the room and she's going to hold this against Mizzy for a long time.
 
Trish has released her audition for Season 2 as a donation goal for her streams.
 
they should get cameos from celebrities and get them all to root for a contestant except simbal. better yet get two endorsements per fish and zero for simbal

Quite a bit of truth to this. People expect intelligent non-whites to either be completely acculturated to white norms, or at least Carltons. Thing is, we're not, and if we don't realize it young, we're in for a world of hurt and failure.

Like for myself, the hardest thing once I was in college was dealing with the educated white propensity for passive-aggressive comments and behavior. I literally cannot deal with that shit, and people who wanted to knock me down a peg figured that out pretty quickly, cause there ain't no better way to lose face in a grad student seminar or office setting than to just say "Hold up, what's your fucking problem with me, man? Just say it straight and stop fucking around." To white people, especially HR types, it's the prelude to a chimp out, when all I'm getting at is "Stop being a dick and hiding it behind indirectness. Cut that shit out and let's fucking work it out, and if you're too chickenshit for that, then cut it out and shut up."

Most people just shrug and maybe eyeroll at the most, but me, man? It just cuts past the intellect and goes straight to the monkey-brain.

And you're right on with the porn, booze and drugs thing. Brains helps with impulse control, but damn, is the impulse overwhelming at times. I could go on and on about this, but Fishtank really ain't the place for it. Long story short, Burt's a smart guy, maybe not a genius, but far smarter than the average Ghanaian, but he's got a whole host of demons riding his back, and our culture has told him those demons are acceptable things to be, rather than shit that ought to be fought tooth and nail. Maybe the Fishtank experience will have him examine his life and show what a fucking spectacle being a gooning kink-addicted faggot looks like from the outside, but schizo shit probably makes that part impossible.

No doubt he's disappointing his family.
