With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Alex always makes the funniest facial reactions. Dude can hit 10-20 distinct, genuine emotions in a span of a few seconds.

As much as he likes to talk, when he listens he hangs on every word somebody says to him.
 
G told Alex that his shaman mentor told him "do the ssi" and he still doesn't understand what that means.

For those that don't know Sam told an old story on stream about his Brazilian(?) martial arts instructor that told him "do dee ssi" when Sam asked how to improve. Apparently Sam ruminated on what it meant for years until he finally realized he meant "do the exercise".

I am unable to find the original story.
 
I feel like they missed out with the DNA tests. Should have made Alex's come back 90%African and gave him a n word pass. Like only Burts came back higher.

I don't think many of the fish ended up taking them in the end. I know prince actually threw his in the trash because right after everyone got them the diary drama started. Shame

Sam bribed Alex to be more racist and it worked. Alex will win, divorce Miss Piggy, humiliate the jeet, stop Burt spurting, beat the faggot Prince, and take Binx as his Feedie Bride.

Burt is and easily in the top three Fish ever, but I think the only thing holding him back is his level of social interaction. He willingly isolates himself from the other Fish quite a bit and sleeps a lot. Luckily he's a schizo so this gives him the ability to produce content on his lonesome.

Burt and Alex remain the best duo in Fishtank history though. They're different but they compliment each other so well. Both are crazy but in their own special way. Burt's romantic love for Alex is funny af and adds another layer to the dynamic. Alex being perceptive enough to notice and fear Burt's craziness while being too afraid of being canceled to let him down. And of course there's the little bro big bro dynamic. They surpass the Jon and Letty duo by a country mile.

Alex is what Jimmy thought he was.

Cole wouldn't fit with these two, but I thought he also brought top tier ments. Him coughing and hacking trying to figure out mysteries was hilarious. He was also brutally smug in his own way.

I think Alex will think the twist is hilarious and just embrace it. Not sure how Burt will process it.
