Alex is annoying of course.. but him leaving would be pretty bad for the show. He is a driver of shit and a constant yapper. The other retarded fish would be demoralized too. Alex still has to stay for a while.

"Why don't you box him then? Fight for your wife's honor?" Jobe Ws all night long.
If I have to hear Alex say ON MY FATHER'S MEMORY or MY MOTHER'S LIFE one more motherfuckin' time, I swear to god.
ETA: Burt said "Whenever you say 'On my father's memory or on my mother's life is when you're lying, I can tell when you're lying Alex and you're lying." YUSS!
People would have 1000x more respect for Alex if we would take the gloves up and at least try to fight for something. He just yaps and doesn't do anything.
You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. Alex's exit is baked into his character arc. Denying that would be denying the very show itself.

I kind of always found the boxing segments a total bore and would tune out whenever they happened. But I am beginning to sense that the reason that Sam Hyde tries to introduce them so much is that they are a great way of dealing with conflict. I can only imagine that if Alex put some gloves on now and did a bit of a match with Hyde while discussing stuff he would probably feel a whole lot better and let a lot of aggression out - but he has to put on the gloves first.
