Burt doxed himself by showing his ID and passport to the cameras :story:
Says his real name is Albert Appouh

Jeff then yelled at Burt to not show his IDs, Burt says it's important to show he's not lying about who he says he is. Production then comes in and tell him not to show his ID to the camera anymore.

Edit: here's the clip

I recall from season 1 (maybe, but it was during one of the seasons) that their stance was kind of like physical stuff was ok so long as it was "consensual" (they didn't use that word, but they use some kind of wording that meant so long as it was tit-for-tat and both parties were engaged then it was fine).
Laws vary by state and locality, but they may be toeing the line between physical assault, which they have some duty to prevent, and a "fight", which is reciprocal. Someone mentioned how Springer handled it by winding people into reciprocating. In many cases, reciprocation through fighting nullifies the ability to press assault charges and makes actionable self defense a nightmare to prove.

This is an aspect of law I'm sure Jeff is familiar with, it's degenerate bum horseplay and drunken bar fighting 101.

In one message they say she can beat up binx if she wants to, then they say she can't assault her.
Either they backtracked or really are encouraging assault
Looks bad and liable to me.
I mean no one is perfect, they at least backtracked on it pretty immediately (obviously it would've been better had they not said anything) and when it comes to the live show they do seem to be very much paying attention and trying to stop actual fights happening (good example was cymbalta trying to shank frank hassle with a piece of a broken ceramic cup - the moment that shit happened they were there).
They also keep people monitoring volatile situations.

Burt gets pressed by Jeff on his nonfunctioning trainer muscles. Burt responds by chewing cereal.

:story: holy shit

Remember when Simbal demanded Luke should get ejected from the house for shoving him?
I mean to be fair and perfectly reasonable to cymbalta he was under the impression that physical altercations were expressly not allowed. The only reason he tried to craft a shank from a broken ceramic cup or plate was that Jet Neptune told him that Frank Hassle basically can't/won't fight back and in doing so indirectly implied that cymbalta was not only allowed to be the aggressor but that he should basically push things.

In short order: the rules of the game have been clarified since the time when luke shoved him.

Fishtank chat is begging Jeff to be put back in the bathroom/silenced etc. for being an annoying drunk crackhead. Jet put out a poll. Nothing has come of this yet, he’s still yappin. And Burt hasn’t slept in like 2 days.

They made him put a paper bag over his head to silence him.

He's been passed out like this for 20 minutes... There's a guy changing the broken door right next to him and someone else is vacuuming and he's not waking up. I think he might be wasted.

Finally happening.
He already brought it up last night in B1. Binx said she isn't into it but watches videos about people into it and finds it funny, which I guess lines up with her knowing multiple lolcows. I thought I clipped it but I didn't.

Disregard that I found it. It was when Jeff came into B1 and interrupted them and Ben got mad that he left the bathroom.

I mean you have to give cymbalta some credit for being able to figure this out (even if he had to ask Jet directly) and then taking advantage of it lol. Did anyone else in another fishtank season just start openly beating on Frank by virtue of figuring out that he can't technically "fight back" (obviously he can still be a dick, but he can't throw punches)
Don't understand why he can't fight back if he's actively being punched and kicked. He pretended to elbow jeet last time he ripped his shirt and jeet almost fell over from the fakeout lol.

Because it's part of his character. Frank Hassle never ever fights back, the point is that he works people up to absurd rages simply through schoolyard bullying tactics.
