With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

tbh a bit of a missed opportunity - they have a full kitchen. They should've bought a turkey and ingredients and had production + the fish prepare a thanksgiving meal together. Would've probably been pretty wholesome, especially since I imagine many viewers are terminally online or may not have family/friends to spend it with themselves.

Yup. I mean really nobody in their 30s should be interested in a reality show. They should have a job, a family of sort.....real shit to actually do and care about.

Lol to be fair, they are working round the clock on a pretty massive production with a skeleton crew.

Not saying they aren't wiggers or burnouts or that they are even doing a good job... but they are pursuing a creative avenue that generates money.

Not quite the same as Mizzy trying to sell hats on tee spring and going live on IG every night.

Yup, I actually thought they were obviously going to do this.

We celebrated a couple of days ago and I was looking forward to seeing them celebrate today. Now I'm probably gonna skip.
 
I keep seeing people talk about a clip of Binx watching fishtank before the show but I haven't been able to find it. Is it bullshit?
 
Yeah watching them try to cobble together a Thanksgiving dinner and having to eat the inevitable slop result would have been funny for the audience and good for the cast.

Jet seems to miss quite a few basic solutions on how to achieve the "vibe" he's looking for and making money, too.

I think he and the rest of production and probably just exhausted.
Also, since the house is in Rhode Island or wherever they live (I believe it is at least) they are maybe just operating with a skeleton crew while some of them go spend time with their family.

Yeah he never properly utilizes juxtaposition... there are natural situations that would be able to produce an ironic contrast and he just doubles down on crazy and whacky every time.

Jet and the wiggers seem to just choose "hat on a hat" in every situation.
